And what's more, the Freedom Zoom 140EX is small enough to take along wherever you go.Minolta's unique 3-component lens construction reduces the maximum length of the lens and enables it to retract completely into the camera body. The lens is crafted with high-quality, multi-coated aspheric optics, which reduce internal reflections, flare, and ghost images, to produce sharp, beautifully detailed photographs with high contrast. Minolta Freedom 140EX features an attractive, eye-catching exterior appearance to identify it as Minolta's top-of-the-line compact zoom camera. The front cover is constructed from durable anodized aluminum, with a titanium-colored finish and a die-cut logo. In addition, a knobby rubber grip serves as a design accent while providing a secure hold - thereby helping to prevent blur caused by camera shake. The 140EX's stylish high-tech appearance will make it appealing to a wide range of consumers.A card-shaped infrared remote control is available as an optional accessory. It has a working range of 20 feet (6 meters), and provides two shutter release modes: standard and delayed. The built-in quartz data back imprints the date or time right onto each photo. Data imprinting can be switched on or off whenever desired, and is very useful for cataloging photographs or keeping photo records of important events such as birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc.
