It has a high-quality Fujinon Super EBC 23 - 50mm zoom lens with close-up focusing at 2 ft (0,6 m). Pop-up intelligent multi-programmed flash with red-eye reduction provides also fill-in and flash off modes. Nexia 270ix Z APS camera offers PQI (Print Quality Improvement), print quantity option and a choice of 3 print formats. It features easy-view LCD display, easy drop-in film loading and mid-roll film exchange (MRC). Additional convenience is provided by sequential self-timer, optional shutter remote controller, and date/time and title imprinting options with 31 preset titles in 12 languages.

Fuji's Nexia 270ix z MRC zoom camera packs a lot of features into a very compact body. Small enough to be carried in your pocket, this member of Fuji's Nexia line allows print format selection. Choose the format of the print to suit the dimensions of your subject: classic 4 by 6 inches, HDTV 4 by 7 inches, or panoramic 4 by 10 inches. This camera offers midroll film change, which allows you to switch from one roll of film to another and then back again without wasting a single shot.

The intelligent built-in flash pops up and fires as needed. A night portrait mode is designed to capture your special somebody in that nighttime setting. The LCD informs the photographer of which settings have been selected, and displays the time and date. Quartz imprinting can be used to stamp the time, date, and your choice from 31 titles onto your photographs. This camera weighs 6.2 ounces and measures 4.29 by 2.4 by 1.46 inches.

Looks ARE deceiving.......2002-06-06

I bought this camera as a rush purchase to go on a weeked trip. Due the fact that my Kodak T550 was left at home. I know Aps cameras my not produce the greastest images blown up but I like them. I used my head and while I was there I took a test roll and got them developed at a local store in an hour. I was already uneasy with the half-way decent quality of the pictures then and by the time I went through 7 rolls of film I was really on edge. I got back home and over 60% of my pictures came out dull, underexposed, and just awful. So I took my negative to an additional two other film proccessors and some of my pictures came out better but not by much. I've only been taking pictures for 5 years and I don't claim to know it all, but I really have come to dislike this camera. The only 'strenghs' to the camera are its looks and the LCD glow-type button function. While it wasn't acting like a camera with astigmatism(which I have) the pictures came out great.
