I have one of my own for a year. Works excellent. I gave one to my daughter for her graduation this coming Friday Jun 1.

Mostly great...except for red eye........2007-04-25

Sometimes this camera is wonderful - the size is awesome, and I can fit the camera in my pocket no problem. And when you're taking pictures of the outdoors, it's great. The problems come when your taking pictures of people and indoors. The flash is SO powerful, often your subject will be nothing but a blur of white. But my main problem with this camera is the red-eye. With the red-eye reduction feature on, I would say about 75% of my indoor people pictures have red eye. I actually usually leave red eye reduction off, because it seems to be easier to remove the red eye after the fact that way.

My final gripe with this camera is it's lack of manual controls. Obviously many users really don't care about this, but if you even have an inkling of wanting to have manual controls, this is not the camera for you.

Overall, if you're looking to take a majority of your pictures indoors and of people, this is not the camera for you - save yourself a lot of work in Photoshop and get something else! For any other purpose, this is a high-quality little camera.

Excellent little camera.......2007-04-15

This is an excellent camera for daily use. It has lots of functionality, its easy to use, and it takes outstanding pictures. Never will you need more than 7.1 mega-pixels for anything you want to do with a little camera like this.

For the most part it is a good product. Taking pics in darker places seems to be a minor challenge due t othe different features. Also, when zoomed, pictures taken are sometimes not as clear as you would like them to be.

This camera is great. It's got really clear images, and I like the macro feature so much. The LCD screen is very cool.. It's big and clear. The only con is that the size of the camera is a little big compare to some other brands like sony. But overall I like it a lot.
