Great little radio.......2006-01-11

While not knowing technical aspects of radios, I do know what I hear... and this little radio pulls in AM stations just as well as my larger GE (which is known for great AM reception). The speaker does a good job. It's no Bose stereo, but it gives good tone considering it's size. Having the choice of running off AA batteries or the crank rechargeable batteries is nice. The energy-saving LED flashlight is quite bright. It comes with a nice fabric case and some literature. While I would not describe the color as being "bronze", it looks more "grownup" and solid than the gray models I've seen. It's a lot of radio for the money.
