Me parece que el arte vocal de Kiri posee muchas fortalezas y sòlidos atributos: brillantez, claridad, riqueza de colores, excelente fraseo, perfecta colocación y afinación, expresividad. Sin embargo, también carece de una mejor respiración para poder contrarrestar el excesivo vibrato que aplica a su canto. Sobre algunas de las obras interpretadas, recomiendo: Der Rosenkavalier: Schwarzkopf; Wagner: Kirsten Flagstad.

This is a very good and very solid disc. I find it style wise in the traditional modern American mode of rockabilly and would place it as being between the more hillbilly sounds of things like Dave and Deke and the more straight ahead rockabilly of other modern bands. They have found a very good rocking balance with this disc.

Rockabilly at Its Finest.......2000-09-12

Don't miss out on this one hepcats and kittens! This 12 track action packed album delivers authentic rockabilly, hillbilly and 50's rock n roll. Listening to this cd, it is easy to see why The Big Barn Combo were the undisputed winners of the 2000 Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly weekender talent contest! With instant rockabilly classics 'Red-Eyed Handsome Man, 'There's a Lot More Where That Came From' and 'Chip on My Shoulder' these cats really deliver the goods. You won't stop boppin and jivin there as these boys really go with 'Boppin Jeanie', 'Big Barn Boogie' and 'Who Should I Call'. Hop on the hillbilly express with 'Left is Left', 'Feather My Pillow' and 'Why Don't I Hear From You'. You'll keep on holding your baby closer with the surprise ballad finally 'Winner of the Human Race'. 10 out of 12 of these songs are self penned, not re-hashed songs posing as originals. I'm sure somewhere in Amazon's data entree department, someone slipped up and filed this under "Underworld" instead of "The Underworld". But

This group is not to be confused with Underworld of Born Slippy fame - they're not the same. I ordered this CD thinking it was a rare Underworld CD that I hadn't heard of, but it's not. It's a rap album by some group calling themselves "The Underworld".

If you're looking for a CD by Underworld, this isn't one. This is by *THE* Underworld.
