THis album is the bomb. It has alot of good songs on it. It has that tight Atl crunk sound I love. It just like lil jon except he raps better. This came out when crunk music was just getting started and booty music was fading away. Some of the drum beats are fast on here.That how crunk music started in the early part of 2000.Its slower now. But any ways get the cd is still crunk.

Baby D is one of the premier Georgia crunk rappers. The beats are Off Da Chain just as the title indicates. This is straight get crunk, booty shakin, elbow throwing, party music. You Can't Go Wrong. Eastside Vs. Westside is the classic song here and it is so crunk that it almost always results in a fight or exchange of words and threats. The Battle between Eastside- College Park, East Point all dem and Westside- Stone Mountain, Bankhead and all dem. My Folk has the tightest beat and the bass is unbelievable and the chant is infectious. Other tight songs include Bow His Azz Up, Bounce Dat Ass, Ridin In A Chevy, Back Up. Back Up is crunk to the fullest with a trill beat. Baby D be going off and can definitely get anyone hype along with the rest of the Oomp Camp. Basically if you need some party music or something to bump in the whip then this is surefire guaranteed to get the job done. Classic. Recommended.

not off the chain.......2000-08-06

I was very disappointed with this cd. I am a long-time Suave House fan. I still bump Coming Out Hard and Tela's Piece of Mind. Suave House seems to have gotten lazy and or not motivated to put out quality music. The only high points on this cd are Eightball's solo song and PhsychoDrama. If you in the Chi-town area or if your local mom and pop can get it, pick up PsychoDrama's Greatest hits. You can hear the talent that this group has. They are the tightest group out of the Chi you've barely heard off. Tony Draper what are you doing???? Hickman is lyrically nice too. I'm keeping this cd till I can burn a few songs then off to the used cd spot it goes.

Ghetto-Tech/Booty House SupaStar.......2005-03-25

I just saw DJ Assault live in KY. He brings a great stage presence, and his set was great. I bought his CD (not found on Amazon, it's ghetto tech isle 2) and it was nothing like his set. The CD is filled with basic beats and simple hooks and rhymes. It is nice to see something diff. in electronic music, but it could be better.

Off the Chain for the Y2k is a very fine full set by DJ Assault (except the first three tracks, which are excellent stand-alone "bonus" tracks). I cannot recommend this album too highly to anyone looking for good, fast techno. I offer that recommendation with the following subtext - DJ Assault is RAW. Look at his song titles and listen to the samples. If you are still smiling when you are done, do not hesitate to get this album and put it on repeat. If you find the titles and samples to be the worst sort of misogynist obscenity, you are correct - go buy this album anyway and listen to it until you feel differently.
