STONE MOUNTAIN ENTERTAINMENT is a new record label ready to launch some of LA's most incredible untapped artists. Our mission at STONE MOUNTAIN ENTERTAINMENT is to archive and release the musical revolution going on right here in Los Angeles. As we all know, Los Angeles is a musical Mecca, an oasis of talent just waiting to be seen and heard. We, at Stone Mountain, feel fortunate to have tapped into this pool of fresh talent in a collaborative, expressive recording environment. We always strive to sign artists who are willing to work hard, and who allow us to take the more grass roots approach of marketing to the next level. We continue to keep the artist's original format and integrity of the songs, while giving them the platform needed to expose their talent. We get our artists major presence on the radio, internet, and film industries through hard work, determination, and persistent marketing techniques, allowing all to enjoy the success of significant record sales.
The birth of Stone Mountain came from the extensive line of work recorded at our own studio, The Hen House, which too is located in Venice Beach, California. HEN HOUSE STUDIOS provides studio time to musicians in exchange for digital video footage. The footage is in turn being used to make full length feature documentary films, as well as behind the scenes shorts that add to the visual content of our website. We focus mainly on local rising artists, who are often in need of a creative, community oriented, all digital studio. However, we have also recorded larger name artists like John Densmore of the Doors and Fishbone. With such an extensive amount of material in our libraries, the need for the label, STONE MOUNTAIN ENTERTAINMENT, became apparent.
