With members hailing from places as unexpected as Karachi, Pakistan and Martha’s Vineyard, the Komadose crew joined forces in Cambridge, MA to bring to hip hop a unique set of talents. Their first project, "Beta One" was released in the fall of 2002 in association with GigCity Records. Though it is a collection of songs from the various crew members, it is not just an introduction to them and their sound - it is a warning of what’s to come! With an arsenal of releases being prepared for launch throughout 2003, Komadose is ready to have artists out now protecting their necks.
Komadose makes music with lyrics so passionate they will grip you from within. Constricting your lungs, your air supply will be cut short until you nearly lose consciousness. And just before the blackness envelops you, try to take note of your heart, now beating in time to their ominous drum patterns.
