Well I have to say this is by far the best Freestyle mix cd out there. Being from the L.A. Urban party scene, all the songs were hits at the parties and clubs. Back then we called this kinda music "Hearthrob" but somewhere along the line it changed to Freestyle. Volume 2 is good too but the third one not so good. If you are thinking of buying a Freestyle CD this is the one. Well mixed and the selection of songs will always be hits and never go out of style...

If you like old school, non-stop mixes, then this is the cd for you. These are all classics from the late '80's club scene. Some great songs to look out for is "Take me in your arms", "No reason to cry", and "Get Away". Johnny O's "Fantasy Girl" and Stevie B's "Spring Love" are probably in the top 5 dance songs of the decade!!

This CD is pure excellence, and one of my favorites in my collection (before it got stolen, but I'll be getting it again soon)! It offers the perfect mix of popular hits, obscure tracks and new cuts in a continuous party mix that never slows down! True freestyle fans will appreciate the songs, mixed in the classic freestyle fashion with its quick, intense cuts and echoie, falsetto/bass vocal repititions, and it offers diversity to folks who are being introduced to the genre. I recommend this album, and guarantee that you won't be disappointed with your purchase!

best solo effort frum Dr Wolfgang so far with ease!!!
i dont really care for any of his early endeavers & "universal-small-solja" wuz abysmal, but this is his most concerted effort so far! th produxion is also th best i have heard since th early 90's! no gloss, no artificial shopping-mall muzak, excellent samples & real drum loops! there is 2 many trashy an crass porn songs an not enough ganksta but overall this is a real gem! "Recklessendangerment"? come on thats a classic!

I've always been a Bushwick fan, and really liked the first couple of cuts (this is what I was expecting). Then the album takes a turn becomes less than his best. You can still see he has talent, but maybe he's lost the commitment for tight rhythms. Overall it's very monochromatic. Also the art work is very cheesy.

I can't believe that nobody bought this album because this has got to be one of the best Bushwick albums I've ever heard. The only bad song on here is Fahrenheit 911 which has Bushwick Bill singing(WTF). The rest of the album though is great and is worth buying. If anyone is reading this, go cop this album right away.

      Damn, the only decent track on this is Life Goes On, all the others suck! The music doesn't even sound right.

      If 2Pac were alive today to hear this he'd go and knock Suge out.

      I seriously cannot believe people are giving this cd 1 outta five stars! I guess these people would rather hear Ludacris and Ashanti butcher a Pac record.

      This album is called a remix album because the songs are remixed. Personally, I feel that some of the remixes offer a fresh feel to some of Pac's classic cuts. However, like most remixes, these cuts are not better than the originals. Buy this cd if you want to hear a fresh new sound to some of Pac's all-time classics.

      P.S.-I keep hearing people saying don't buy this cd because it's putting money in Suge's hands. Well, it's either Suge or Pac's money-crazed mother Afeni...take your pick.

      There is not much I can add to these reviews here. Just like me, a lot of people here were dissapointed because of the fact that so many classic 2Pac songs were remixed only to sound like disasters. Why would such an abomination happen? Suge Knight is trying to milk the Pac legacy until it is bone dry. Well at least he has done something right if you ask me. It sucks that this is how we are forced to remember Tupac Shakur, over tracks chopped up into this. Die hard Pac fans won't even like this, if they haven't heard it already. I'm so waiting for a remix album of "The Chronic" and "Doggystyle".

      If Suge Knight was smart you would reissue Tha Dogg Pound's "Dogg Food" on dual disc, because that is the only reason why I don't have that album yet.

      The mileage Suge Knight got out of tracks recorded by 2Pac ranks up with the "new" releases of Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly years after their deaths.

      The game comes crashing down with Nu-Mixx Klazzics, a cheap means to re-release previously-issued cuts. There are classic tracks, but the new mixes are absolute garbage.

      The legacy left in his much too short recording career of 2Pac can never be tarnished, no matter how his music is manipulated and twisted by others.

          This album by dr.dre really shows you he has been around for a long time and he knows what hes doing started off a dj now he owns his own recoed label and he is also a producer and songwriter well he done made some big changes in the music industry but this is a great beat sample type cd if you like lots of banging beats
