The hip-hop society is eternally littered with matching rhymes with little to no substance. Thankfully, stylistic artists such as Big Rat, through his east to west coast travels, bring soulful rhymes that are innovative, but never duplicated.

Big Rat was born on the streets of the San Francisco community of Hunters Point, and later moved to the West Philadelphia area before settling in the Mile High city of Denver, Colorado.

At the age of 12, Big Rat’s influences focused on Slick Rick and Dana Dane. At the age of 16 the shift was to Scarface and Master P. And now, at the age of 25, with his own style where hard core rap meets meaningful poetry Big Rat has left many craving more.
