2 out of 5 stars One decent track and the rest are trash.......2006-12-09

I'm glad I got this cd for two bucks...it's like I got a single with a bunch of other garbage on it. "Tight Whips" is the only decent track (and even that has weak spots), and the rest are trash. There's parts where it sounds like their beat box has screws loose. It's bad when the beats aren't even together, let alone the rappers. Some of the rappers aren't too bad...and then there's T-Bo. He's straight out of "Malibu's Most Wanted". He must have been still getting used to that grill when he was recording his part on "Tight Whips"..."Gold Grill Glithnin, theeth girlth call me Mithter Clean"...Check out the DVD to see how ghetto fabulous the guys live, also to see Master P rant on about a New No Limit comeback that never actually came around.

    1 out of 5 stars complete garbage.......2005-04-29

I was just looking at reviews from CD's that I bought that I thought were the worst investments I have ever made. I listened to this CD once through and was very upset with it , then I thought I should give it another chance and listen to it again. (Since I did like the 1st 504 boyz CD) But I ended up breaking it in half and throwing it away, after I saw it laying underneath my bed for 4 months. I didn't want to trade it in anywhere cause I didn't want anyone to listen to that crap and be as upset as me.

Seriously... why do rich boyz let romeo in this album? without romeo i woulda given it 5 stars! Romeo is the worst rapper to hav ever lived. Simple version? Romeo suks, end of story.

    4 out of 5 stars romeo's gettin better.......2006-07-08

romeo is gettin better. the rich boyz seem like there gunna be big and have a good fuiture ahead of them. this is a good album. not every song is great but most of them are.

4 out of 5 stars Romeo is Hot.......2006-06-14

I think the album is good!I think pepole is hatin on him cause the boy is doin big things. He is postive and that's what the rap game needs. And the thing about him is that he is so diffrent. He don't try to copy off of other rappers. And he don't call females out they name. He is very respectful so I think he's all good.HOLLA and stop HATIN!!!!!!!!

1 out of 5 stars why is no limit stuill trying.......2006-03-24

p must not have anything better to do cept maker trashy cd's with nothing but bs tracks now lil romeo got a group of young kn uckelheads thinking they can make some money in this rap game you gotta be stupid for signing with no limit retarded if they think they can move units with this p, romeo nobody cares about ya'll anymore.

    2 out of 5 stars Hmm........2004-04-02

Sad thing about this CD is; the artwork's better than the music. It is. This could still mean that the music is great; if the artwork's pure art the music could still be at least 4-stars. But no. No. No. I picked up this CD today for $1, because I'd always wanted it and well, here was my chance. I gave this a spin, and the one word that popped up in my head was 'mediocrity'. This record is pure mediocrity. Big Ballers? Yes, just another No Limit clone coming to haunt us. Avoid.

5 out of 5 stars Big Ballers Records gots tight rhymes.......1998-09-18

this cd is dizzope tight. Mint Squad and Po Boy and Family Ties set it off with tracks like this is how it's going down, paper chase, and ain't no stopping the south. my favorite song is this is how it's going down by the mint squad, it's got a good hook with a tight beat so if you have a little change get this cd Big Ballers!

        THIS N**** DOPE!

Marz has been around a few yrs back and returned with his 4th indie release Against All Odds.....

MOst of the hooks on thiz thang are catchy, good s*** to relax/jam too this is a banger allrite.......

only traks that were weak on it are "red carpet pimpin" and "on a hustle" b-sides that, everything else flows nicely and sounds sharp....dont sleep

        3 out of 5 stars Chi-town is the city!!!.......2005-10-28

I first heard of Marz a few years back. I picked up his debut Lung Fu Mo She, and liked it a lot at the time. Now when listening to it the beats sound pretty generic, and as a whole the album sounds dated. I hadn't really payed attention to him until now when I found out he had three albums I missed. Left Gorilla Pimpin alone, not too big on rock/rap. Lung Fu Mo She is definately rock/rap, and Gorilla Pimpin sounds even more so. Took a listen to TGZ Nation the Mixtape, and Against All Odds and really liked them. You can tell this time around the focus is on hip-hop, not rock. TGZ Nation has good beats, but they're not Marz's beats. The beats on Against All Odds are decent, but not high quality, although a few stand out. Marz is really improving his rapping skills, and although I feel he may never break into the mainstream, he may become a good underground rapper. He stills needs to work on, and polish his flow, as well as expand his vocabulary. Against All Odds is a good cd, entertaining listen, and if you buy it from his website it will only cost you 10 bucks. Check it out, you shouldn't be dissappointed. Thanx 4 reppin Chi-town Marz.

        5 out of 5 stars This **** is good........2005-10-15

There isn't one track on this record I didn't love. Marz's lyrics are great and cover everything form the gangster, the inspiring and the funny. You can dance to this record, relax to it and well you know.
        I definitely recommend it.

              Album Description

Al Pacino and 50 Cent don't have much in common except deep pockets, and 50's opening claim on G-Unit Radio Vol. 2 that he's going to be "the best fucking bad guy you've seen so far" are a long way removed from Pacino's restaurant tirade in Scarface. Vol. 2 is, however, one of the best examples of a lackluster mixtape. Whoo Kid doesn't bother as much with freestyles over played-out beats in Vol. 2; he instead relies on multiple live recordings where poorly-managed sound boards prove more frustrating than enjoyable. The eerie, Castlevania melody of "Clips" and Lil' Flip's molasses flow on "Get That Money Man" are highlights of Vol. 2.
