I am a big Def Jux fan and have been listening to Embedded tapes for years. Any fan of underground hip hop will love this album. Everyone interested in the continued existence of underground hip hop should buy this album.

I used to rock their mix tapes all the time, you know back in tha day. But now they decided to release something on compact disc. i relized nobody was makin tapes no more so i went out and bought a cd player just so i could listed to the bedford files. Best CD I bought this month.......2002-11-05

I used to buy Embedded mixtapes at this little hip hop store in NYC. After I moved to Wisconsin, I wondered how I was going to stay on top of new underground hip hop. Embedded always had great pre-release tracks from my favorite artists as well as dope original production. Who knew they had started their own label? I recognize a lot of the tracks from the mixtapes, although the quality on Bedford files is much better. My personal favorite so far is the C Rayz Walz track, also the RJD2 remix of Vast Aire's Tippin Dominoes rocks my world.
