5 out of 5 stars It was as good as I thought.......2005-07-20

Very good CD if you like Reggaeton. It has some new artists in it and some different beats, even some songs in englis which is a plus for a lot of you people who dont understand spanish but still like the genre. The DVD is awesome, dont expect to see videos though, It's actually a documental on the origin of Reggaeton and the paths its taken and how it has evolved into what we all listen to today. If you like this style of music, I really recomend it, specially so you can watch the DVD and see where these guys and gals are coming from.

4 out of 5 stars Very Nice Introduction.......2004-04-12

This album was my introduction to Axel Rudi Pell, and I must say I'm quite impressed with his songwriting and guitar playing. He plays a kind of very melodic power metal. Anyone who likes high quality hard rock/metal that is of a more mature stately nature will be instantly hooked! I gave the album four stars simply because I think Pell's music is more album oriented and hard to compile. Pell differs from other guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen in that his music is more song oriented and isn't quite the guitar showcase. He's more focused on solid songwriting, but this isn't a bad thing since he always plays well. Best songs on the CD I think are Casbah, Fool Fool, Eternal Prisoner, and Nasty Reputation. This disc also features some cool vocalists like Rob Rock, and Jeff Scott Soto who also sang on Yngwie Malmsteen's first two solo CD's. Also, I think Axel's albums have some of the best covers I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to hearing some more of his music, but he has so many solid albums it's hard to decide which album to get next. Regardless this album is a great introduction to his music.

2 out of 5 stars goodbye BCC, it's been nice.......2003-07-10

This isn't the BCC I Remember. This is some poppy, played out, might as well be fabolous, Jay Z or any other pop rap group out there. With the exception of Smif n Wesson you have 5 rappers who sound exactly the same as one another with mostly lame beats that could have been made for Nsync's crossover rap album. 1 or 2 good tracks, the rest is fluff. The BCC I remember was totally underground, hip hop to the core, rough and rugged with hardcore beats. This ain't it.

        5 out of 5 stars They back.......2003-05-23

This is the best comeback of tha year this is a classic anoter good album from Boot Camp Click if you don't got just pick up.

5 out of 5 stars Hot Hot Hot.......2003-04-04

That's all I have to say about this album. I have all their previous albums but this album is a perfect blend of mixes and lyrics. It's really a shame that BCC will never get the recognition that they deserve. It's a rarity that you will get nothing but hot tracks through out the entire album. Now a days artists are comfortable with a 70% output but this album is 100%. If you like their previous tracks you'll definitely like this one. Do your ear's a favor and treat them to this album.

5 out of 5 stars BCC back with a triumphant return!!.......2003-03-13

From the first time I gave this album a spin, I was into it. By the time I was finished and the music was over, my head was still noddin' to the tracks I just heard. Especially the first song "And So", which displays a melodic gituar loop and thundering basline, a great way to begin a comeback album. For those who did no get a chance to hear any of Duckdown's music since For The People, it is like there wasn't even a layoff between albums. All of the MC's rep righteously on the album, especially Buck and Ruck. The beats are mad hot, with the Beatminerz leading the way. Other standouts on the album are the Alchemist produced Let's Get Down to Bizness, Ice Skate, the interestin Daddy Wanna, and the Beatminerz special Had it Up To Here. If you were into Duckdown's music in the 90's, then you will certainly love this joint. Best believe the BCC and Duckdown are here to stay, go get The Chosen Few and continue to support their work.

5 out of 5 stars Welcome to Bucktown, USA.......2002-12-17

The word that describes this album best is "Whoa." Dope beats, great lyricism from all the B. C. C. "The Chosen Few" is one of my favorite albums of 2002. Suggested tracks to check out are: All of 'em. This album is definately not for those that think clowns like Ja Rule or Nelly represent true hip hop. This album is real hip hop for real hip hop headz.

4 out of 5 stars reggae-tinged soul and funk with heaps of bonus tracks.......2005-04-19

This is a pretty good album - not the best reggae funk album around but a good obscurity.

Being more interested in the funk-reggae of the album than the sweet soul songs, the best tracks are funky buttercup, candy, in the rain and several pretty good bonus cuts. Actually, some of the bonus cuts are the best tracks on the album, featuring some good drum breaks. There's also some good soul-ish versions of reggae classics such as Delroy Wilson's Dancing Mood and Alton Ellis' Girl I've Got a Date.

A couple of the tracks are too sweet soul for my liking - with the vocals not being gritty enough. But a few gems make up for this. Unfortunately, some of the best Chosen Few songs the group ever recorded aren't on this album - such as their reggae version of the Delfonics Break Your Promise and a couple of other rock steady groovers.

Tears for fears dominated the pop charts of the '80s. In 1985 they released the album 'songs from the big chair' which contained the hit singles 'shout', 'head over heels' and 'everybody wants to rule the world'. The remake of their earlier hit 'mad world' from the film donnie darko made their legacy apparent to a post-millennium audience and re-ignited interest in the band.· Various bootleg dance remixes have surfaced in club land and now a legal remix of quite possibly tears for fears biggest hit is here to take on the charts all over again.· Includes an electro house remix by open air as well. 2005.

          Album Details

Tears for Fears Dominated the Pop Charts of the '80s, in 1985 They Released the Album "Songs from the Big Chair" which Contained the Hit Single's "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" Both Single's were Top Ten Hits in Australia and Became Anthems for a Generation. Customer Reviews:

          1 out of 5 stars Not bad..........2006-05-26

This effort is a decent cover. The Open Air mixes are by far the best versions on the single. However, it is important to note that the vocals are not Tears for Fears (for those who care). I've heard plenty of mash-up remixes and other DJ cover mixes that update old favorites, many of which include original vocals. This cover does not.

          5 out of 5 stars Don't miss this gem--a slammin remake of a classic.......2005-10-28

While Track 2 is a straightforward full vocal house mix of the Tears for Fears classic, with even the melody resung at times and altered from the original to mix things up a bit, the real stand out here is the Open Air extended mix, a trancy electro house mix that takes the song to a whole new level. The last track is a really bland soft house mix. Stick with track 2 and 4 and you'll be set.

Well i got the cd "da chossen few" and i sat down and i took the rapper off the cd and put it it and i listen to the whole thaing as the day went by and it came to my surprise that i found it using alot of diffent bass lines and surprising sound that usally wouldnt be tight but it just all falls togather for a wondering pieace of work by the one and only Brotha lynch hung and Lethal so there for i gave it four stars. So yes my fellow music lovers if u like that siccmade style here you go and i would suggest to pick a copy and see for your self
