Customer Reviews:
He's the Best.......2006-10-23
First let me just start off by saying that Nature has been my favorite rapper for the last 6 years, and I have been following hiphop with a microscope for the last 10. Anyone who has never heard his work needs to stop what they're doing and go pick up both of his cd's immediately. As far as rating this CD, i give it a five simply because Nature's lyrics remain flawless, maximizing lyrics to their fullest capacity in every bar spit. The main reason most of you still probably haven't heard of this guy is because of his lack of catchy hooks, no better way to say it. The beats aren't the best money can by, but still, there are about 5-6 that are just ridiciously good, and I'd say the best songs on this cd are better than the best songs on his first, overall the first was a little better. But still, I play track 4 and 9 anytime i find myself in a city I've never been before, just so I can have memories being in those places listening to the greatest rapper I have ever heard. "For All Seasons" is a definite classic, but "Wild Gremlinz" will always have a special place in my heart. The good songs are just too good not to own and bump everywhere you go. If this guy never blows up, I take it as my personal duty to spread the word about his music, because it's just that good.
Possible 4.5 star 2nd solo album by NATURE.......2004-11-15
The Firm's quiet member, Nature, returns a little shy of 2 years after his solo debut. Not as strong as "For All Seasons" it is still a good album. Features a few (relatively unknown) people on this one (unlike his debut which only had 1 guest). Has a few weak tracks but a few that are very good. The production is sub par on some of the songs on here but he also has some upbeat, tight tracks. Chin produces 6 songs, Blanco does 3, and SPK, Now & Laterz, Darrell Branch, Megahertz, J Garfield all do 1. It has 3 or 4 I skip, 2 or 3 that are ok, 1 classic, and a good amount of strong songs. The album is mostly good but has its ups and downs. A good CD and a must have for QB rap fans.
#2 - 9.5 (short but tight - good beat)
#3 - 8 (f/ Young Katz, Dog of ACD, Masta)
#4 - 9 - tight beat
#5 - 9
#6 - 7
#7 - 9 - tight beat
#8 - 4.5 (f/ Bars & Young Katz)
#9 - 8
#10 - 9 (hard song)
#11 - 6 (f/ Killz & Sabotage)
#12 - 10 (classic w/ tight beat about getting "Supa High")
#13 - 6
#14 - 6.5 (f/ Killz)
#15 - 7.5

Nature - Wild Gremlinz.......2004-06-02
This is my second review for this CD, because Amazon apparently didn't post my first one. The first time I listened to this CD, I must admit I thought it was pretty bad. But people have to understand that good production is very hard to find these days. Other than the production I thought everything else was pretty good. Good lyrics and Good hooks. My favorite songs are The Ride, What Cha Know, and Life & Death. Nature is a excellent MC but his production could be better and thats why I gave this CD 4 starts instead of 5. For people saying that this CD is bad, you need to listen to it more than once to like it. This CD just goes to show that Nate can still make a good CD even if he does not have good production.
Nature- Wild Gremlinz.......2003-08-29
Nature's (Jermaine Baxter) 2nd album "Wild Gremlinz" (2002) marked the return of the Queensbridge rapper who dropped the memorable and much slept on debut album "For All Seasons". This time around he is not with Columbia and is instead with the up & coming Sequence Records (Slum Village, X-Ecutioners, Tony Touch. Guest appearances come from Masta, Dog, Young Katz, Bars, Killz & Sabotage. Production comes from: Chin,Now & Laterz, Spk,Blanco, Mega Hertz, Darrel "Digga" Branch, J. Garfiel. To be honest I have never heard of any of these rappers, or producers, but I guess thats what comes with smaller labels. Fastpaced the "The Wake Up" starts things off and is followed by the standout title track "Wild Gremlinz" feat. Masta, Dog, Young Katz as a collabration track it is blazing hot. On tracks like "The Ride" and "Take that" Nature comes across more grimey then usual, though different both are decent. "Love that Hoe" feat. Barz & Young Katz uses a repetitive piano beat which quickly gets played out. "What Cha Know" is a decent party track, the next two tracks are average. The bouncy "Supa High" changes things up a bit a laid back track about getting blunted. The album closes with "Disturbin the Peace" and Nature finally starts to show some of his real solo potential dropping a memorable narrative. After listening to this album through and through I have to say I am disappointed. On his last album he was able to shine even on the few tracks with subpar production, on this one he is not able to do that and production is worse. Lyrically he is not as entertaining, and the mixing of guest appearances and vocals from other artists does not enhance his music at all, if anything it takes away from it. I am still happy that he is coming out with music though, his flow is ill as ever, I just would like to see him get the backing of a label which can promote him better and provide high class production. Stand out tracks for me are the title track and "Disturbin The peace", If your new to Nature I highly recommend getting his first album as for this one if your a major nature fan you might like it otherwise I would suggest saving your money. Still got faith in Nature though and will lookout for his next release. 2.5

This album is the best thing to come out since FOR ALL SEASONS. The BEATS are the best bit, even the intro is hyped...
