Crazy, Sexy, Cool- UK!.......2003-04-24

UK Garage? I never heard of it until Misteeq came on the scene. This impressive debut record from the 'Queens of Garage' is filled with some sexy RnB tunes, some crazy garage mixes, and some cool soul anthems. Misteeq have constantly been compared with Destiny's Child- Why? Just because there are 3 sexy black women in a group. Their styles are different!
The opening track 'One Night Stand' sets the main theme of the album. the title speaks for itself! It's so nice to see a garage group not talking about drugs, violence and guns! The best songs are- 'Roll on' 'Why?' 'All i want' 'B with me' and 'They'll never know'.
Believe me, you will not be disapointed with this album!

one night stand - second single awesome!! 10/10

that type of girl - should've been a single 10/10

roll on - bad choice in single but ok song 7/10

there are like 2 songs i didn't like but these songs are still worth listening to, the whole cd rocks and the kick ass tracks make up for the bad 10 fold.

what do you get if you cross TLC with Destiny's child and add some good old UK garage music??

Mis-Teeq.

Mis-Teeq are currently the third most successful uk girl group currently in the UK charts.

What makes them special from the British pop of Atomic Kitten and UK pop/R&B act of the Sugababes is that they are the first successful girl group to emerge from the london Garage scene into the mainstream charts in the UK. They have the R&B capability of Destiny's Child and also the capability to MC (wrap) like the late Left Eye from TLC.

Musically this album is a cross between R&B and Garage with only one pop sounding track called These Days which is still a beautiful track. The hilights are the singles along with Nasty and That Kind Of Girl which show the uniqueness of this trio.

If you are looking for a great CD, buy this one because musically it is different and much better to anything I have ever heard, and confirms the girls as probably one of the most underestimated acts in the UK who will have no problems getting number 1s in the future. If you are not from the UK, then watch this space because these girls have got the gift to be bigger than destiny's Child.

A great album that will not disappoint (even my gran lets me play it in her car) and one of the few albums I have purchased that have been better than I thought it would be.

There's one item worth your money.

These are the hottest RnB/Garage group around and are infact one of the best groups to drop out of the UK in a while. As is So Solid Crew!! (Where Asher D & Harvey produce and feature on one of the tracks)
All the tracks are here anyway, Why?, All I Want, Roll On and One Night Stand. This has to be one of my favourite albums of all time - every track is easy to listen to!
If anyone likes RnB with a twist of Dance and hearing a raggae rap thang ontop then this is your group! The tracks are sexy, smooth and full of the heaviest, sultry beats!
They make Destinys Child & TLC look like they were amateurs.
You people are MAD if you don't feel Mis-Teeqs vibe!

This album shows typical English garage! Which is a mixture of dance and R'n'B! It is a brilliant "getting ready for a party" album! With guest apperances from Asher D and Harvey from The So Solid crew- Another Garage crew! It is soft garage with nice mc's from Aleesha.I'd recommend DEFINATELY!!
I do like a lot of R'n'B and this slbum is garage coming into its R'n'B and hip-hop form.

this album has wiked beets and sum good r&b souls.it is worhth buyin but if u dont like mis teeq raps then leave it.it has all there recent hits on it and a reallt good tune wiv so solid in it!i wuld give it 7 or 8 out of 10

i love this band. they don't sing about cheating and playing on other people like most bands do. keep up the great look and hot music!!!!

It's an ok buy. Not a must have, but you don't regret it either. So Solid
are guests on this one. The song "nasty" samples "Vanity 6's "Nasty girl" and
a bit Alexander O'Neal's "Fake". "Secrets of the night" could have been the
soundtrack of a vampire movie. It starts of with "There is
something we have to tell you, we are not like ordinary girls" - so it's an
attempt for a modern "Thriller". It's quite a nice album.
