4 out of 5 stars Walk Through These Evil Streets... {4 ½ Stars}.......2007-07-02

Ah yes. All We Got Iz Us. When this joint came out, I was skeptical because I didn't really feel Bacdafucup like most folks did back in '93. I found their constant screaming somewhat gimmicky. Similar to Das Efx, there were a lot of cats biting their style back the early 90's. Just like cats were jacking the "iggety" from Das, cats were screaming all over their records after they saw how many units Onyx moved on their debut. When I first heard "Last Dayz" I was hyped up because they weren't yelling and they still came off crazy hard. I copped every single from this album as well as the entire album on vinyl and CD. The production is what I love most about this album. Surprisingly, the entire album is produced by Fredro himself (Sticky produces one track). That shocked me because I didn't even know he made beats and these beats are super dope.

There aren't many flaws because the album, despite a distinctly east coast/early 90's sound, has matured very well over the years. If anything, there are moments when the members of Onyx regress into their gimmicky screams, but it's totally tolerable because the production is better than it was on their debut and all three members rip their verses.

All We Got Iz Us is still the best Onyx release out there. They are puttin' work on the independent level, but they haven't come close to topping this album 13 years after its release. Like one reviewer said already, there's no filler, no fluff, and no radio friendly singles. It's just Onyx ripping track after grimy track. If you like your rap hard or if you dig that early 90's east coast style then I highly recommend adding this CD to your music library.

Standout Tracks: Purse Snatchaz, Live Nig*z, Last Dayz (My Favorite), All We Got Iz Us (Evil Streets), Punkmotherf*kaz

4 out of 5 stars THESE EVIL STREETZ IS RUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2007-06-22

I am not an ONYX fan but this is a damn good album. Its pure NY circa 1995. Grimy beats dark tone pure street. This when NY seemed like a place where you would get your azz kicked. Now it one big Party wooohooo. They where more focused on death on this one than the first album. The beats are good at this time in hip hop albums actually took you places and where interesting to listen to. Ni@@as seem to try harder in those dayz. 95 i an convinced was a land mark year for NY hip hop. Check out Smiff n Wessun and Mobb dDeep The Infamous. Lata

5 out of 5 stars Raw, gritty, and slept on!.......2007-05-25

This was Onyx's best album and most people missed it cause there was no videos or airplay of any song. It was an street album that was gritty and raw with many punchlines and full of evil and darkness. It was straight hip hop at its' best with no B/S. The best songs are Last Dayz, Mos Def, Ghetto Mentalitee, All We Got Is Us and Walk In New York. If you are like me (a fan of old school), you got to have this album. It's hard to believe it has been 12 years since this album came out and it still goes hard after all these years. It's CD's like this that will never allow me to get into the B/S that's out today.

5 out of 5 stars Onyx - All We Got Iz Us.......2007-01-09

Wow, Onyx does it again! Bacdafucup was easily a classic album in its own. The lyrics, the style, the production was all perfect on that album. But this album is no different, it comes correct in all forms! And one thing better about this album, some of the beats are darker.

The production on this album is just insane, there isnt one beat on this album that I dislike or think is weak. Onyx sounds perfect over these types of beats, if you like grimey and gritty banger type beats then youll love this album. If you liked the beats on Bacdafucup, youll like this album. The production on this album succeeds greatly. Check it out. Some of my favorite beats are the songs, "Last Dayz", "All We Got Iz Us", "Shout", "Betta Off Dead", "Getto Mentalitee", "2 Wrongs". I mean every song has a good beat but those are my favorites.

The lyrics are also good, Onyx is about the streets and whats real. They speak it on this album. The grimeyness they bring, the energy and the flow they bring is just insane literally, it makes the whole album enjoyable. If your a fan of hardcore hip-hop, grimey hip-hop and the 90's sound then youll like this album. Check it out.
