5 out of 5 stars THIS CD HAS SOME MEANING!.......2004-09-15

you know you look at an album like this and wonder why, why dident this album cell. I remember when the song I remember u hommie came out it really touched me, it let me see street life in another perspective in a way people don't want to see or look at, it tells u of the true life story of real gang bangers what really goes on in the gang world, it makes u wonder how people can listen to somthing like this, know its true and still want to live that kind of life style. I'm not going to say this cd changed me and got me out of that life but it dident tell me anything that wasent true about the gangster life and way of living. You see no one wants to ever see the bad things about gang life and what you have to do to be the altimate gang member, it takes alot alot tears, fears, madness, sadness, and total violince and destruction of people it takes alot that you have to stop and think for a minute do I want to do this? what will be the out come of this? will i make it through? will I show my self to be brave and worthy? will I be the altimate gang member? or will I fail? Well this is my point, this cd tells 9 times out of 10 what gang life really is like and it's not so cool, but the reason why I believe this cd did not cell it was to real to the life of the gangs, it only told truth, not like these other rappers that only rap about things you want to hear things that happen with the gang life but are not of the importance its what you call RAP CRAP! this artist Mc Blvd was a really good talented rapper and did not get all the credit he deserved cause all these punk gang members cant see what he's trying to get through to them, it's not just rap he's not just rapping but rapping with feeling rapping the true life that he once lived and now he sees the light hopeing you will to. Hey I mean i'm still all down for the gang life it's just there are consiquences that go along with it and this cd will tell you all about it if you havent herd it but if you had herd it or at least the song I Remember You Hommie and you did not like it it's because you dident want to face the truth the reality of the fact that this talks about how that kind of living really is and not to mention you don't know what true rap is because this guy raps only true and this is a life that he has lived him self not like these other RAP CRAPERS! that never have been on the streets and never knew how this life is lived, yet they come out with this CRAP! thinking they know and they have never even seen the half of it, cause if they did they probably would not be rappin that CRAP! nomore. This refers to all that rap you hear on the radio well not all of it but the majority of those rappers never did what they rap about. so buy this cd and listen to some real rap for a change not RAP CRAP! it's still ashame that this artist never got his worth and what he deserverd from making this cd but I can say he did get some real recignition from me Mc Blvd you are great!

5 out of 5 stars Real Talented Mexican Rapper.......2004-07-18

This iz a real ex-gang member from the streets of east los angeles that can flow good as well tell vivid stories that play like a movie in your head. Kind of like the way ice cube did in the early nineties. He is a good raper and im sad to see that his albums didnt sell that well and he fell off. But if your into real rappers from the street this is a rapper you will be interested in. Not like those fake thugs ja rule chingy eminem u know wack rappers. Also he is featured in a award winning documentury from 1992 called "LIVES IN HAZARD" featured on the movie "American Me" so check it out.

5 out of 5 stars Great Artist with a lot of heart and soul!!.......2003-12-08

MC Blvd is one of those underrated artists who can really sing and can write! I heard the song "I Remember You Homie" in Washington one night and ended up buying his music in Los Angeles where I Live. I also hear it on the Underground Oldies Radio Show in LA!!! Blvd not only raps well but he is an even better singer with heartfelt lyrics that are positive!! His beats are old school mixed with contemporary. I predict that once his music is more exposed he will become a big artist. I own his "Love On My Mind" CD and his "I Remember You Homie" CD that has a guest appearance by the late Roger Troutman. His other album has Barbara Mason as a guest artist!! I heard that there will soon be a box set or double cd on MC Blvd including some new songs in 2004!!! I am looking forward to that!!! I found his cd on a very informative website...www.itprecords.com I highly recommend this artist!!

5 out of 5 stars SOUL of the BLVD.......2006-01-13

"EXELLENT ALBUM" MC BLVD is a true gangster rapper who is always DOWN FOR THE BROWN. A former L.A. gangbanger who realized the potential of his talents while behind bars. Once out of jail he also found religion and incorporated both into his music. His songs tell us that the gangster life isn't one that's worth living and path to God is way to go. But not only is he a great rapper but his ballods are awesome too. My only question is, Why didn't this album go DOUBLE PLATINUM? BLVD is the best Latin rapper out there today, and if you can find an original copy of this album(the one from 94)I recomend that you get your hands on it quickly. Also be sure to check out this guy in concert if he ever comes to your town.

5 out of 5 stars MC BLVD IS NOT BLACK.......2004-02-02
