The best live album ever.......2006-07-08

I first bought this album back in 1987 when it first came out. I`d never heard Skrewdriver`s music before this, so why did i buy it? Well, because i`d heard so much bad publicity about them in the controlled music press back then, i decided to check them out, and buying this album was one of the best decisions i`d ever made. This live album totally blew me away with it`s sheer and brutal punk rock boot stomping power. Skrewdriver never held back. Most other oi bands watched what they said but Skrewdriver spoke their mind with a two finger salute to anyone who dared to argue. Before i heard this live album i was into bands like the dead kennedys and crass. I still like those bands because i believe in freedom of speech for all, and i like people in bands who practice their freedom of speech and speak their minds. If you don`t agree with anyone`s politics, whether they be left wing or right wing, bad luck, they all have the right to their freedom of speech, and if you don`t like what you hear then don`t buy the records. All skrewdriver`s early hits are played live on this album and as a bit of a bonus you can hear Ken Mclellan sharing the lead vocals with Ian on most of the songs. Just think, if it wasn`t for the stupid music press constantly slagging Skrewdriver off then i never would have been turned onto this band. This re-released c.d version has extra live tracks and extra demo studio tracks. All in all, you get your money`s worth.
