Sean "Diddy" Combs has spent so many years as an entertainment/fashion mogul and tabloid celebrity, that it's easy to forget that he also makes music. Press Play, his first album since 2001's The Saga Continues, is a reminder that whether he's named Puff, Puffy, or Diddy, Combs has a keen sense of what makes a good pop/hip-hop song but that he's also a middling rapper. Listening to Diddy rap in the same monotone flow he's had for years--not to mention his anemic songwriting--is a distracting sonic drag on an otherwise fluidly produced album. There are some excellent tracks, however. Mobb Deep deliver the dark and sinister "The Future" while Rich Harrison knocks out another vigorous workout of a beat for "Making It Hard." The best songs like "Everything I Love" (featuring Nas and Cee-Lo) and the fast, frenetic "Wanna Move" (with Big Boi, Ciara, and Scar) allow Diddy to play a secondary role rather than the main attraction. He's still a savvy mind behind the scenes, but there's not much gained in putting him in front of the mic. --Oliver Wang

Album Description

No one says it better than Diddy himself--"Press Play is based on all my musical experiences - from the Uptown era, when I was working with Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, and Heavy D...to the Biggie, 112, Mase, Total, and No Way Out era. As time evolved, and I started traveling around the world and going into dance and techno clubs, I began to see music from a global point of view. It all came together on Press Play, all those sounds in my head. I've evolved, studied the game, been a part of it, had success. It all comes down to press play. After you press play, it's gonna make or break you in this game." A year in the making, Press Play finds Diddy joined by a who's who of contemporary artists and producers. Among the guest performers are: Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Big Boi, Brandi, Keyshia Cole, Nas, Fergie, Avant, and Pharoah Monch. Diddy was joined on the production side by the likes of Kanye West, Just Blaze, Pharrell Williams, Havoc from Mobb Deep, Will.I.Am, Rich Harrison, among others.

4 out of 5 stars welcome back diddy.......2007-07-17

i think diddy did a great job. he has good hits on here. the song and video with Nicole from the pussy cat dolls is hot. and christina aguilera's voice sounds so good and strong on Tell me. she did a good job. diddy took his time with this album unlike a lot of the "rappers" out there. i don't know why people don't like this album.

Beyoncé did her thing in 2006 but something about the beats in most of these songs...very infectious.

Let's be honest: was anyone really checking for a new Diddy album? We all know that he was never really the best lyricist, but he still shined when he wanted to ("Diddy", "It's All About the Benjamins"). But his latest album Press Play will have you doing everything BUT that.

Now, Diddy has been known for bringing a slew of guest stars on his albums, especially since his first and third releases credit some variation of "and the family". At first glance, it appears that he is trying to roll for dolo this time around (although that didn't work on Forever), but in actuality, this album is also littered with guest stars, and their performances really aren't that great. And as far as the Bad Boy influence, I can conversely compare this release to posthumous Biggie releases: Biggie was paired with artists he'd probably never work with if he were alive, while here, you'll find people that normally wouldn't be paired with Diddy, like Nas ("Everything I Love") and Big Boi ("Wanna Move").

There are a few tolerable tracks like "After Love" and the necessary song with Mary J. Blige on the hook, "Making It Hard". The best songs, though, would have to be "Come to Me" (with Nicole Scherzinger -- I don't know WHY I like that song so much) and the latest single, "Last Night" featuring Keyshia Cole (but it should really say Keyshia Cole featuring Diddy because Diddy is only on the chorus). But other singers seem to make bad songs even worse, like Brandy ("Thought You Said") and, unsurprisingly, Mario Winans ("Through the Pain"). And if 2006 wasn't such a bad year for collabos, the Christina Aguilera-assisted "Tell Me" would have easily been in the running for my most hated collaborations.

That song also suffers from a hectic beat, which points out another downfall on the album: the production. The beat from the aforementioned "Wanna Move" sounds like it came straight from a Yamaha drum machine, and "Special Feeling" sounds like it was made with a My First Sony. But other songs are just garbage, like "The Future" and especially "Diddy Rock" (and that's also a wack title). Also skippable is "Hold Up", which features Diddy saying that when it comes to foes: "They disturb me, but it's love like tennis." What?

And this damn album is 79 minutes long, too. Basically, as other reviewers have said, the only button you'll really be pressing after listening to Press Play is STOP/EJECT.

New Wave beats, minimal Diddy rapping, and guest artists galore make this a worthy listen. Much better than the lil jon/mike jones/whatever southern guy wants to make booty bass these days.

1 out of 5 stars I'd give this C.D. ZERO Stars, if that were possible...P. Silly.......2007-05-24

really needs to focus on recruiting and producing talent. An absolute AWFUL C.D.

Does P Silly have any friends in his life, you know, the kind who are bruatally honest who will pull him to the side and really tell him the truth.

ALSO, if I here that god awful song last nigh one more time, I'm gonna hurl. P. Silly must be paying radio stations to play this garbage.

    1 out of 5 stars Press Eject.......2007-07-16

There is not much you can say about Diddy. When he isnt killing the memory of Biggie with bad posthumous albums, he's killing hip hop with his own bad albums. How did he get a pass you say? Simple. He was rolling with Biggie who New York was feeling at that time. Im not going to spend time talking about how stupid that is to like somebody because you love the person he's rolling with. Instead Diddy will prove how wack he is for me. Examples:/I can feel your heart beating/I can hear you breathing/ look into your eyes/trying to see into your mind/ see into your soul/(creepy as it is confusing)/ No doubt with the stallion/ somethin italian/ or maybe Puerto Rican you can catch me in Paris/(YAWN)/Im in it to win it but willin to carry the game/ if you think Im not just look at the carats/(SNORE)/I run through sets/ come through sets/ chick hypnotized by my 1,2 steps/Im way to fresh/ so complex/n***** try to predict what Im gonna do next(that remains to be seen)/ Let me get an order/ got somethin for ya/ you ever seen a black man walk on water/(but wait it gets worse!)/ here we go again makin that beat go bump bump bump bump/ Still spending money aint nothin changed man/ spend a couple mill just to make my change rang/(HUH?)/ When it comes to my foes they disturb me/but its love like tennis/(what the???). You get the drift. Puffy should not be within a thousand mile radius of a microphone. I heard the talk that Talib Kweli and Pharoahe Monch were writting Puffy's rhymes on this album and if that's true then they need to step their ghostwriting game up because I heard nothing that stood out about his rhymes. Add that to the fact that Puffy has the personality of a ladybug and his delivery is about as exciting as watching the spin cycle at a laundromat. Come To Me featuring Nicole Scherzinger is overrated and drab and Diddy Rock featuring Twista and Shawnna is the corniest thing I've ever heard and what kind of a hook is that? /Come here girl/ let me creep in your world/let me see the backside of your moon/no vickies only laperl/Let me take you to Indonesia/where nobody can reach us/ Im your burger/ your my fries. Plus that is the worst beat that Timbaland has made since Nas's You Owe Me. Tell Me wastes Christina Aguilera's talent and our time and if I hear another person bumpin Last Night featuring Keyshia Cole,Im gonna SCREAM!!! How can I diss Last Night, let me count the ways. 1. the beat sounds offbeat 2. the horrific singing by Keyshia Cole 3.the track sounds like bad 80s music 4.Puffy sounds like he's doing his worst Lenny Kravitz impression in the background. Bottom Line: Doody's Press Play is easily one of the worst albums of 2006. The production(for certain songs) is a little bit better than his the beats of his previous albums but Puffy sucks! And why is it that most of the guest appearances on a Puffy album are just as bad as Puff? Puffy has dropped three garbage albums and he is only going to get worst. My suggestion is that you pay his ugly a$$ no mind and keep it moving. By the way if your going to talk about who is killing hip hop and you dont mention Puffy, then you shouldnt even entertain the subject at all!

1 out of 5 stars Press Play is terrible.......2006-12-21

This cd is terrible, I dont understand how this cd is #1 on any billboard. Diddy's rapping is terrible, he raps off beat. There is only 1 song thats good. Don't waste your money. This cd is not even worth downloading.

2 out of 5 stars I Had To Press "Skip" A Few Times Before "Play" (Rating 4 out 10- -2 stars).......2006-10-25

Is anyone suprised at this album? I believe that it is a step above the previous ones that he has released, but it is still bad on his behalf. Why might you ask? Diddy's rhyme skills are still pretty bad. Think about it people, when has he actually said a half decent rhyme? Maybe something off of the "No Way Out" album, I'll give him that one. But seriously? So how does he stay relevent in music? He chooses the finest commercialized beats that will have mainstream rap and pop listers in tuned throughout this album. He knows no one listens to rhymes anymore, and many people will move to something with a nice beat. And he gets the okay to the top notch beats from Timbaland, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Just Blaze, as well as himself. Trust me, if he had to rely on his rhymes to get by in his career, he would have been in deep trouble ever since Biggie died.

Now as for the songs themselves, some of them I could listen to, like the "Testimonial (Intro)", he spits a pretty decent rhyme on that song, then it goes down hill from there from here on his behalf. I do dig the hit single "Come To Me". Most of the beats are bangin' throughout this album is why people will like it. "Diddy Rock" is one of those songs I'm describing, despite the corny hook by Timbaland. I like the song "Through The Pain (She Told Me)" with Mario Winans as it holds a nice beat. "Hold Up" shows there is little suspect that he can carry a song by himself. The innovation stops here.

As for the bad, the majority of these tracks I believe shouldn't have seen the light of day. I believe "Last Night" was one of them as he sings with Keisha Cole, thats right he SINGS (...oh and you have to hear what he says at the end of the song). Towards the end of the album, he starts getting pretty bad as he has a lot of songs talking about females causing the lack of subject matter throughout this album. I barely got through the second track "The Future" without hitting the skip button. I believe "Special Feeling" is a joke to everybody that listens to that song. And "Tell Me" with Christina Agulera is unbarable beat wise and with a pathethic hook.

Some of the guests couldn't save this album. Nas and Cee-Lo couldn't revive the dead song "Everything I Love". And Shawnna and Twista doesn't add to the "Diddy Rock" song. Big Boi of Outkast swaps verses with Diddy outshining him on the song "Wanna Move"

So I believe a lot of people got what they expected. A some horrible songs mixed in with some songs with dance beats. Pop listeners and Diddy fans will eat this up. Believe it or not, I admire Diddy for his work and how successful he is, becomming an icon in rap music. I just believe that he shouldn't come stay far as possible from the microphone, seriously. If you're curious to hear this, give it a listen, just know what you're expecting from it.

I like this album, I've only heard the clean version, and it keeps a rocking beat. I've been working out to it and I love it. His guest artists are awesome and the raps are tight and I'm not a big rap fan. It's a perfect blend of neo-soul, rap and all the other genres Diddy has been working in. I'm impressed.

Don't believe the hype: Bad Boy Records did not invent the remix, the company has just done a good job using it. But the past is the past. Don't come here if you're looking for Puffy's earlier groundbreaking work with the likes of Jodeci and Super Cat. The "hits" here are of a more recent vintage, and if these remixes are any indication, it seems Diddy has reached the bottom of his bag of tricks. Screeching bells, Ghostface Killah, and the return of the MacK (Craig Mack) give G. Dep's "Special Delivery" (from last year's Child of the Ghetto) that hyped Bad Boy flavor of yore, but it's all downhill from there. Lines like "We used to drive the whole city wild" make listening to "I Need a Girl," Puffy's maudlin ode to ex-squeeze J. Lo, a cringe-inducing experience, and the producer-rapper's painfully weak rhyme ruins Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama." Most disturbing is Puffy's crass opportunism: Biggie's "voice from the grave" duet with Ashanti (on "Unfoolish") is downright creepy and ultimately unnecessary. --Rebecca Levine

3 out of 5 stars Nothing but Heat.......2006-12-14

Don't listen to the other reviwers on this site, if you enjoy remix's and enjoy the work of Puff then you'll like this CD. Diddy has been doing hot remix's since his day at uptown. The Real Love remix which introduced us to a young Biggie Smalls is a classic. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs isn't your standard remixer. He doesn't just alter the beats of his songs; he re-writes his songs -- new beats, new vocalists, new lyrics, new everything. Of course, Combs doesn't actually do this himself. Rather, he outsources the work to his roster of producers (the Hit Men) and some of the biggest names in urban music. Stand out songs on this on include I Need A Girl Parts 1 & 2, Special Delivery and Dance With Me b/w Peaches & Cream. While I would've remixed Peachers & Cream into a slow jam this is still another catchy album from the Bad Boy Camp.

There used to be a time when rap was not synonymous with the likes of Hillary Duff. No longer is that true, if you call this rap. Puff wasn't that good to begin with, and I never owned any of his cds but I knew of him...anyway, by the time I heard he changed his name to PDiddy, I about laughed until I pissed myself.

this cd is pretty good, but theres only two songs that i would consider classic material

    and they are!!!!....

    1. that's crazy remix- tons of verses, and its hilarious

    2. special delivery remix- too good for words just amazing

    1 out of 5 stars What more can I say? It's Diddy.......2005-07-30

So this is what the onetime flagship of the east coast has to offer us. a bunch of remix's with washed up rappers(Craig Mack comes to mind). Hip hop turned pop. BIG gotta be spinnin in his f***in' grave. Knowing he use to roll with this sellout b**ch puffy. Jackin' beats, spittin other ni**as verses, rappin about his wealth. Everything about this ni**a is wrong. He's not even talented, just ridin a dead rapper's street cred. F*** badboy for life.

4 out of 5 stars A Piece Of Remix Paradise.......2005-04-02

The remix can be a very dangerous tool if used in the wrong hands; many remixer's have a habits of either (1) changing the original into something we don't like anymore, or (2) changing it so little that we don't even see why they bothered. Some remix equal the original, like J. Lo and Ja Rule's "I'm Real" (Murder Remix); a select few surpass them, like 'N Sync's "Girlfriend" (Neptunes Remix feat. Nelly); but most a major dissapointments. P. Diddy may not have "invented" the remix, but his "P Diddy & Bad Boy Records Present: We Invented the Remix" demonstates his mastery of it. All the tracks aren't in the same league, yet it doesn't mattter too much because there are a number of really good ones and the album flows well as a whole. Part of it's success is the fact that it has remixes from multiple artists on the Bad Boy label; thus at times it feels more like a compilation than a remix album. Two of the most notable selections are the remixes of "I Need A Girl (To Bella)"; both singles surpass the original cut:
    - P. Diddy feat. Ginuwine, Loon, Mario Winans & Tammy Ruggieri "I Need A Girl Part II" A-. A terrific R&B/rap track with a positive tone to it. Five artists may seem like too many, but everyone is giving a good amount of time to create this blissful track off one of the few remix albums that doesn't suck.
    - P.Diddy feat. Usher & Loon "I Need A Girl Part I". A-. For a change from most music, Parts I & II are actually different! Part II may be the more involving one, but this part still has a whole lot of charisma and likability to it. Another entry in for the era of positive hip-hop (almost R&B).
Although it is a little odd that "Part II" comes before "Part I". Unfortunetly, in between these two wonderful songs is the album's low point: the "Bad Boy For Life" (Remix feat. Busta Rhymes and M.O.P.). The original version wasn't great, but it had a rough edge to its fragmented beat. This version takes that edge and drives it into the ground by destroying the entire beat and taking away part of the meaning. But the album does enter more great heights; one being Ashanti's "Unfoolish" (feat. the Notorious B.I.G.). It is a clever take on "Foolish" as it shows the flip side to the song, and contain's some chilling raps from Biggie. 112's "Peaches & Cream" (Remix feat. Ludacris)is another highlight; as Ludacris' breezy guest verse mends perfectly with 112's blissful lyrics. The song flows so perfectly that we get caught up, even during the explicit content. Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama" (Remix feat. P. Diddy) and "Notorious B.I.G." (Remix feat. P. Diddy and Lil' Kim) are also catchy, fun counterparts to their originals.
Bottom Line: ***. This is quite an entertaining album, which join's Jennifer Lopez' "J To Tha L-O Remixes" as a good remix album. The album functions perfectly as a non-stop party, and is loaded with fun and skill. This isn't a great disc, but it is a very entertaining one that shows why P. Diddy is a modern "Jack Of All Trades'.

Emerging quickly from the aftermath of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs's New York-club shooting trial is the optimistically titled The Saga Continues, a compilation masquerading as Combs's third solo album. Though he was found not guilty, the incident is clearly very fresh in the Bad Boy CEO's mind. On the mic, he vents about the criminal justice system and player haters, and he also dedicates a thinly veiled verse to his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, on "I Need a Girl." The only thing that's changed about Combs since his last outing is his name (from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy). On the mildly gritty "Bad Boy for Life," he raps "Don't worry if I write rhymes / I write checks," and the wholesale musical swipes of the past are just a little subtler now. The Neptunes-produced "Diddy" pilfers from Rakim, Boogie Down Productions, and Nice & Smooth, and even recent Bad Boy product is fair game, as Black Rob's "Whoa!" is recycled on "That's Crazy." Most of the rest of the production and vocal contributions here come from a mix of loyalists and newcomers, and predictably wallow in mediocrity. Aside from Faith Evans and Carl Thomas ("Can't Believe"), on this album's evidence, the Bad Boy Family is now pretty nondescript. The loss of key franchise players over the years to death, departure, religious conversion, and prison means Combs and his label will themselves need an equally drastic turnaround to scale their previous heights. --Del F. 4 out of 5 stars Bad Boy's Return To The Top.......2006-12-14

After being acquitted, Diddy released his strongest work in years with The Saga Continues. With it's first single Let's Get It produced by Rockwilder and feat. Black Rob & G-Dep it was clear that Bad Boy was back. The album also featured the hit singles Diddy,Bad Boy For Life and I Need A Girl.

      4 out of 5 stars P. Diddy - The Saga Continues..........2006-10-16

After another two years since his last release, "Forever," Puff Daddy, now P. Diddy returns with his 3rd solo album. It's filled with lots of features showcasing the newest bad boy roster and some tracks Diddy isn't even on so I guess this is kind of like a compilation. Can Bad Boy survive in the new millenium or will they end up extinct just like Death Row and Ruthless?

Being a big fan of Bad Boy and all, this album really let me down. There's a couple great tracks, a couple wack tracks and the rest are good but nothing memorable. The production lacked majorly for the most part not to mention there's multiple tracks where Diddy isn't even on so people buying this album to just hear him will be disapointed as well. Probably the wackest cd Bad Boy ever put out. Don't even bother with this effort.

4 out of 5 stars The Saga Continues by P. Diddy.......2006-02-14

For years now, Puff has been telling us all that Bad Boy "can't stop", "wont stop" and that they "don't even know how to stop." On the title track of P Diddy and the Family's newest album, "The Saga Continues", Puff switches it up a little and says, "There's certain things in live that you can stop, and there's certain things in life that can't be stopped." A fitting intro to the CD, being that the sample off the track is also used by the Chicago Bulls upon their entrance onto the basketball court.

Although "The Saga Continues" was supposed to be a Bad Boy compilation rather then a Puff solo, Puff fills the album with in-house guest spots in an effort to really give everyone a taste of what's to come. The stars of the album are the usual suspects, Black Rob, G-Dep, and Mark Curry. But many newcomers also make their presence felt, such as former Harlem World member Loon, Bristal, the Hoodfellaz, and Kain, Puff's Caucasian prodigy. While some may wonder who all these new guys are, don't worry; you'll know who they all are soon enough.

For anyone left doubting of G-Dep's skill, the album features a great number of guest appearances from Dep, including one of only three solo tracks. On "Child of the Ghetto", also the name of Dep's upcoming opus, Dep laces an eerie violin beat courtesy of Coptic, with grimy descriptions of ghetto life on the streets of Harlem. Of course, there's also the sonic hit "Lets Get It" along with "Blast Off" which also features Mark Curry and Loon. Nearly every track that G-Dep appears on is tight, which hopefully will reflect his upcoming solo album.

Aside from Dep, the other neophytes assure their roles in the game and shine in their own right. Mark Curry and his husky voice provide the finale verse on the current single "Bad Boy 4 Life", and he also appears on the album finale "The Last Song". Over a hype mechanical beat, Curry claims he's"...the official bona fide, tested and tried, I get in like cancer and work from the inside..." Even the white rapper trend is taken to another level by Puff. On the g-funkish "Lonely", Kain spits "Come on Mya ride it with me, leave the lame respect the game, when you hangin on my arm you expect the same, an ecstasy when you sex the Kain, I only link with the wealthiest and only cop jewels if it drops Celsius..." Recently incarcerated Shyne however, is nowhere to be found on the album. That's probably the most disappointing element of the entire album.

There are a few appearances by outsiders, such as Kokane on "Lonely" and Eightball & MJG on "Roll With Me". The R & B element is kept pretty much to a minimum, with a few appearances by upstart Cheri Dennis, and of course the beautiful "Can't Believe" by Carl Thomas and Faith. The typical Hitmen producers aren't as prominent on this cd either, focusing more on works by Yogi and Mario "Yellow Man" Winans. Not to say that these aren't welcome changes, both Yogi and Yellow Man produce some of the albums best tracks. There's also a few notable others, such as the aforementioned Coptic, Bink on "The Last Song", Buckwild on the Cheri Dennis solo "So Complete", and "producers of the moment" the Neptunes on possibly the albums worst song, "Diddy".

Overall, if this is what is to be expected from Bad Boy in the future, then Puff can rest assured that he'll be riding the top for a long while. His production, r & b, and lyrical squads are unparalleled by any other label. Hopefully Puff will keep the boys busy in the studio and we'll be enjoying a plethora of new material well into the new millennium. Stay up Shyne, we miss you.

5 out of 5 stars Get Off To Music With Soul & Dance!.......2007-01-26

This is the first single off Diddy's new album titled, "Press Play". Produced by himself, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs with Co-Executive Producer Harve "Joe Hooker" Pierre. Be ready to experience bass, some rap, some dance styles, and some soulful jazzy vibes! This is a highly recommended for party people or fans of the nights in the club, party, or streets. Get off on music that has blended styles of beats sure to get you dancing off your feet!

The first track "Come To Me" featuring Nicole Scherzinger is a dance song that has much back and forth rap between Nicole and Diddy that are fun, sassy, and flirtatious! If you want to experience music to *play* with that special someone or just go *wild* shaking it on the dance floor then this won't disappoint. If anything, it will leave you wanting more. So get together with your friends, press play, and enjoy the nightclub effects!

While the first track has a dance oriented hip-hop style this second track titled "Get Off" has a more Southern sound of fast energetic beats, high bass-lines, synths, jazzy horns, drums, and much breaks of rap as the party gets off on the streets of Harlem! The tempos are energetic, in full force, and it's apparent the party is in the street corners and the crowds don't want to leave; the roar is heard as the shouts are repeated in the song that the party can't stop. The horns, claps, and instruments accompanied by the crowds and James Brown style make this sticky and infectious.

The third track is the video "Come To Me" featuring Nicole Scherzinger. This video has the typical dance club scene that will be sure to be an eye-opener! If you want to see and experience it, then this video will be sure to make you jump from your seat and dance! It has Diddy and Nicole glancing at each other at the club as they each go their own separate ways yet yearn to be together. It's a chase sure to get you motivated to watch, enjoy, and get in the mood to feel hyped!

If you love to dance up a storm and get into a funk then this is for you! And if you enjoy rap with R&B hip-hop dance elements then you will find this smashing! Nicole's vocals sound nice, sensual, and in synch with P. Diddy's. The mixture of cultures makes this a phenomenal style! This is great for fans of dance, hip-hop/R&B, soulful jazzy sounds, or Diddy, and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls!

But as a smart british Agent 007 and his dream as the first blackguy in the James Bond-movies ?? I believe, the late author Ian Flemming will be rising up again from his grave and finds no peace.

5 out of 5 stars Hot New Single.......2006-10-24

Come to me has to be of the top sexiest singles for this year. Whether you hate P. Diddy for being an egomaniac or you hate Nicole because you think she is slutty, well guess what just put that aside for one second and listen to this fun song!

          1. "Come to Me" has an irresistible beat that makes you want to move, move, move! It is the perfect song to request the DJ at the club to play and then make eye contact with someone and sing this song away, hey or can I just say Karaoke Couples anyone? This is not just the same old boring beat and even if you think it is, well I still listen to my old music and I still enjoy it.

          2. The "Come To Me" Video is fun and flirty but I will not mislead you. It is your typical dance club, but it is still fun to see your stars live and getting their groove down. Nicole looks as hot as ever and P. Diddy well lets just say if you like him you will love his moves, if you hate him you will love laughing at his dance moves, so either way enjoy this bonus treat.

Loved this song the first time I saw the video, had to own my on copy to play over and over. The way P.Diddy mixes R&B with the soulful vocals of an amazing talent such as Christina Agellara is a win win. "Come to Me" is the second song on this single which is also a treat because it has a more Hip Hop vibe. Then number four sounds like a Tribute to The God Father of Soul James Brown. P.Diddy sings over his origanal hit "Get Off" and almost sounds just like James Brown. A great end to an amazing CD single.

5 out of 5 stars Can You Put Yourself To The Test?.......2007-03-01

Tell Me Featuring X-tina Aguilera has the booming bass, drums; fast paced highly energetic beats, tribal hints, and excellent charged vocals by both Diddy and Christina. The back and forth between Christina and Diddy bring love to the spotlight. Both sing flawlessly, energetic, and in high gear. The beats are catchy, infectious, and spectacular to get you in the mood to dance non-stop.

Come To Me Featuring Nicole Yung Joc, Young Dro and T.I. ~ The combination of featured artists make this spectacular! The music takes you to a steam of high temperatures and much romantic moods. The bass is booming and the vocals are a true representation of hip-hop passion. The lyrics and rhymes are tight and fresh. While the explicit lyrics are present they aren't necessarily offensive. The beats are party-like, in full gear, and completely different from the other versions. If you enjoy the clubs, dancing, the party, and most of all rap then this will have a blend of each. The heavy bass, rap, and drums make this a favorite hip-hop track.

Tell Me (Instrumental) ~ There are no vocals or lyrics to hear. But fans of the sound of the drums, dance effects, and beats may like this.

Get Off is a non-album track with much soulful funk, and James Brown vibes. While the music world has evolved many artists have forgotten where their roots took off. This song takes you back to the times when the music in the street corners created huge crowds who celebrated and didn't want the night to end. This song is an excellent track to combine with the other tracks to compliment the super fast beats and just end with a full speed soulful Southern or Harlem style. Take off to music that will bring you to feel in ways you never thought possible as the beats are non-stop, in full speed like a race car drive, and most of all with the heart and soul found in the passion of hip-hop, rap, and soul.
