The combination of the two artists has brought a new light to the current state of hip-hop. According to Double-F he just "wants to revolutionize the game one more time and make sure our presence is felt everytime we on." The two have been referred to as the West Coast version of Redman and Method Man. "I think everyone just wants us to be them because we spit ferocious and Double-Owe loves chronic,” says Double-F.

Double-F a.k.a. Mr. Effervescence started rhyming seriously about seven years ago with various crews. He brings a different kind of energy to the game. He is currently pursuing a solo career but with other objectives on the table he decided to push the album entitled "Double Jeopardy" which is on his label HeadHuntaz Entertainment. To be a mere 5' 6" he has big plans. "I know as a solo artist it's harder to break just because we got so much competition so with Double Jeopardy being as original as possible plus being as fierce as possible makes it easier for us to push our solo stuff." says Double-F. He currently has a catalog of over 50 songs and has featured on mix tapes all over southern California. He has collaborated on unreleased songs with Eve of the Ruff Ryders, the legendary Ike Turner, DJ Rectangle, Da Five Footaz, and Volume 10. Staying busy with numerous projects he also has performed with Volume 10, Acey Alone, Da Five Footaz, Medusa, Playa Hamm and others. "I just try to stay working becuase if I'm not there someone could easily be filling my spot, can't have that." says Double-F

Double-Owe short for 007 is ready to blow, has been an MC since '95 and has been part of the Sub Squad, the Square, The Professionals, Blaze Nation and Double-F and Double-Owe (D & D project). "Me being in various crews gives me a chance to show my versatility, cusp sometimes I'm superlyrical, sometimes I'm just cynical sometimes if you hear me rhyme you might giggle a little, it's all Dub", says Double-Owe. Double-Owe has over 35 songs to date and is currently recording more with his group Blaze Nation and the 2nd D & D project Dubbed Out. He has worked with DJ Rectangle in the group entitled the Professionals, featured on songs with Two Scoops of the Dove Shack and Exhibit. According to Double -Owe the world is not ready "I'm just trying to get down where I can get down because people have been sleeping on me for too long like I’m a Sealy posturepedic mattress, Naw Naw no more of that wake up ya'll.

The duo definitely has a sound not heard of in a while they have a devastating chemistry and are not scared to experiment with styles, concepts and the like. I think as a group you will get to see an interesting side of them as well as their solo efforts. "This is all I'm going to say now that we here ya'll are not going to have a choice but to listen to it. If it's wack turn it off. If it's tight bang it. says the group. I am a major fan of west coast music and when i got this cd, it instantly became my favorite. KREEP & Scoob Nitty did a great job on this album. The beats are are off the chain, and everything they spit is so real. if you want an album that will stand above all others i suggest you pick this up ASAP!

Another great album from Australia's best kept secret The first cd was recorded live in front of 35000 fans at colonial stadium in Melbourne and anybody who owns Barnes first live album Barnestorming would know how great his live albums are, and won't be dissapointed with this one.The second is a compilation of his last three mushroom albums.
