4 out of 5 stars Real HipHop outta...Where?! Seattle?!.......2002-03-15

I've been onto these guys for awhile. I was surprised to hear that Seattle is back in the rap game so many years after Sir Mixalot.

This is nothing like the Seattle rap we were all hyped on back in the "I Like Big Butts and i cannot lie" era. This real, genuine, original Hip Hop in the tradition of KRS 1, Black Sheep Swollen Members, Dilated Peoples. Anyway, You get the picture.

Do Not Sleep! please belive it...this is the stuff!

4 out of 5 stars Insane.......2002-02-02

I got this album by accident, in a dilated peoples concert, when buying a shirt, for a extra 5 bucks, the person would let me choose one out of 3 cds. I picked Boom bap out of luck and I have never had regrets since. Boom bap is really good, their beats and scratching are what makes this cd sweet. The unique lyrics are a huge bonus. Dj tre, karim, dialog are a sweet trio, and i am looking forward for more of their cds.
