About the Artist
26 years old from South Central, Los Angeles. But don't let the location fool you! Mane Azeem has been an enduring pioneer for Hip-Hop since 1983, where he left his role as he youngest member of "The Expo Breakers" and found his calling thru the rhyme. Azeem has appeared on other works such as "Music Madness' Faces of Madness" and various other underground compilations. Mane Azeem is a veteran of the Legendary Los Angeles Hip-Hop spot...THE GOOD LIFE.

Because of the astoundingly high rate that Azeem creates music...we are unable to accurately say just how many songs he has recorded...but at last count it was 218 fully recorded songs! Wheww!

"I'm just not equipted to do anything else but rhyme" Azeem was reported as saying during an interview held by SOURCE MAGAZINE. This point has been made true! If you are tired of flakey artists who put out one CD and then vanish for good...you may just about bge ready...for.......MANE AZEEM'S: Normal Phobia.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars be a tad bit afraid.......2002-02-15

i bought this album on a whim, and all I can say is, my jaw never left the floor! Mane's lyrical prowess is incomparable to anything short of the trademarked style by the likes of Aceyalone and fellow west coast lyricists. While the production is a bit iffy, you can tell its only a limitation of the available hardware. Mane's voice and intonation are unrelenting. Stunning. The last track, "why" is such a stunning and unexpected example of profound lyrical prowess, alone it would have made the album worth it. In some ways i would describe it as an incredibly important album before i called it great. That is to say, get this or find some way to get it. My amazement and shock only points to Mane's unexpected innovation. Besides, there's a quaint anthem dedicated to the heavyset ladies!

5 out of 5 stars DOPE!.......2001-08-29

Pure Hip Hop without all the BS! Not one time on this CD does he mention "ice" or "bling-bling" which is so refreshing. This kid will go far in the rap game....

5 out of 5 stars This guy is very talented and good looking........2001-08-24

This is the baddest CD I've heard in a long time. I am not much of a Rap fan, but this album really kept my attention and I listen to it all the time. I'm sure he'll be around for a very long time..

Don't forget the pink Jeep.

5 out of 5 stars Normal Phobia A MUST BUY CD.......2001-07-20

5 out of 5 stars Illest Emcee to hit the industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2001-07-19

Mane Azeem------A name that is here to stay. Azeem is the illest lyricist to hit the industry. Simply INSANE that one man has arrived to change the entire industry. "Stylebiters Beware"
