P Decimo hails from Michigan where he was raised. However, his travels have taken him from Michigan to Chicago to Atlanta and back to Michigan where he currently resides. Along the way, he honed his style and lived the experiences which form the basis of his lyrical content. He performed with the likes of Master P, Scarface, the 69 Boys and Top Authority.
In 2000, he teamed up with the So So Def/Moodswing Productions crew where, among other things, he cut demo tracks with Jagged Edge. In the summer of 2000, P Decimo returned to Michigan. Shortly thereafter, he was offered a production deal by Moodswing. However, he opted to remain in Michigan.
As fate would have it, in April 2001, Decimo, along with a host of other rappers, was tapped by producers Don Q and Rob Law to audition on some hot tracks they were producing. Decimo managed to blow the competition out of the water and ultimately signed a production deal with Q and Law. The combination of the tracks and Decimo's style was explosive, and spawned the creation of the current EP.
Although the EP showcases an exceptional talent in Decimo, it does not show the surprising extent to which he keeps getting better day by day. Therefore, watch out for the album. It promises to be smokin'.
