About the Artist
Ta-Ta, the explosively creative M.C. from Plainfield, NJ, is generating an electrifying buzz in the music industry.

Ta-Ta's debut album, Never Forget, merges her unique rap style with pop and R&B, creating a fun CD with serious undertones.

Ta-Ta's interest in music started at age 5 when she began listening to her favorite pop and R&B singers, Whitney Houston, Regina Belle and Cheryl Riley. Ta-Ta's interest in hip-hop was sparked during an after-school program when male rappers took the stage and were disrespectful of women with their lyrics. Ta-Ta quickly wrote her own set of lyrics, counteracting their rhymes, and with her impromptu performance, brought the house down impressing both male and female classmates. Since then, Ta-Ta's extensive stage and television experience has included countless performances in NY and NJ clubs and college campuses including a performance as a featured performer at an after Grammy party (The Bank) and, more recently, standing room only performances at the Soul Cafe and The Groove. She has shared the stage with Wu Tang Clan, Biz Markie, Smiff and Weesun and other. Her performance on the Queen Latifah Show won Ta-Ta the first ever Queen Latifah Award for Hip-Hop.

Ta-Ta's new release includes a collaboration with Smooth Bee, of Nice 'n Smooth, and features musicians who have performed and recorded with Barry White, The Police, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and more.

I think that if people do a bit more research to find alot more about different bands they would realise that some times the foreign bands sound better so i think that you should import more exciting bands like brosis and b3 because its worth it and now i haven't got a fave english band instead its german and the name of that bands is bro'sis & b3!!!...

GREAT RECORDING, BUT THE PRICE..........1999-12-01

This is 20th century opera at its most vivid. Once considered a failure, Osud was resurrected in an English translation that actually improves upon the original libretto. The music is as vital as anything in Janacek: the piece starts a churning riff strangely reminiscent of Philip Glass; the ending is equally memorable -- startlingly brusque and humorous. Throughout, we get musical drama tied to the quick of spoken language; conversations overlap, or suddenly fall silent. At times the story is ridiculous, but the production rides over any problems. Philip Langridge, as always, is great. My only qualm: this was originally a single disc CD on EMI, for a single disc price. Though the package is nice, the price is steep for some 70:00 odd minutes.

Broadway style performances in terrific sound!.......2006-07-11

These performances by British singers are all ones that Kern himself would have liked. No-nonsense singing and arranging so that what you hear is the song Kern wrote--not a performaner's special interpretation that is more about the performer than the song. Most sound as if they are right out of the show that generated the song in the first place. If you want top drawer musicality of performers that match the composer's, this is far better than the compilations of assorted pop singers. It's all about Kern's music.
