Is it really non-stop?......Word!.......2003-07-02

Im sure at this point, there's about 100 "old school" rap compilations out there, but as far as I can tell, this is one of the best. It's from the era after early 80's breakdance rap, and before the early 90's gangsta rap. When you got "Jump", "It's Tricky", and "It Takes Two" on one disc, you know it's good. Plus "Humpty Dance", "O.P.P.", and "Me Myself and I". This would be the bomb if it included "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss", "I got a Man", and "Bust a Move", but no. This also comes in a 2-cd set, but the best of that is all here. Another great collection is "Millennium Hip-Hop Party". It's just as dope.

One Disc Is Better Than Two.......2001-07-22

Why buy a 2-disc compilation of hip-hop hits when the best ones are one a 1-disc set? This one-disc "streamlined" version has the best of the 2 disc set on it. The only song I relly don't care for is "Summertime"(I've heard it WAY TOO MANY TIMES). Great songs on this disc include "The Humpty Dance"(Digital Underground), "Push It"(Salt-N-Papa), and "Iesha"(Another Bad Creation). So skip the filler of the 2-disc set and purchase the best of the bunch. This is a must for any old-school hip-hop party. I absolutly adore it!:)

Indifferent anthology.......2001-07-10

Some good tracks & some bad (does anyone want to hear "2 Legit to Quit" anymore?) make for a decent but uninspiring collection. Hip-hop dabblers will be better served with "Millennium Hip-Hop Party" or "Monster Rap".

Really nice CD, it just combined in a nice way everything I was looking for in a music for strip-dance.
First of all, it's a good music (and hot!), I like to listen to even without stripping, just like a normal good-quality CD.
Second, there are several sets of the music on the disc (Hip-Hop, R&B, Instrumentals, Dance) that allows to choose the music which better corresponds to my mood, and perform different styles of strip-dance. (that's really good cause I don't need several CDs)
Finally, good point is that there are no gaps between the songs, and they go smoothly one into another. It's really an advantage when you performing your dance!

This cd is great. It has all the good stuff from the 90s. You can't beat a CD w/ Urban Dance Squad, Lucas and Kris Kross on it :) Definitely one to buy.
