About the Artist
Since six grade and days of Jose's, my resume' portrays through essays, words seen from inner sort of like X-rays" -words from "Holdin' It Down"-

Yo, it's like this, Edward Allen -A.K.A.- Ally Al is like the last of the Mohicans. Money started writing rhymes when he was in the sixth grade, which he continued to do as a hobby, not taking it seriously. In the senior year of high school he ran into Anthony Guzman (Gee Finesse), another rapper. Finesse had been doing vocal recording for a while and when he found out that Al was into rhyming, he asked him to stop by his next practice session. When Al saw the way this nigga was spinnin back beats and rippin it wit da rhymes, he got hooked! At this point he decided to see if he could make shit happen. Finesse and Al recorded and practiced all the time, sharpening their skills. All the heads on the block was feeling all their joints. After they graduated they went different ways, so things were put on hold for a while. Al went into the military got out in '92, hooked up with one of his boys from the block and started over from scratch. With his Man O making the tracks and Al rhyming, niggas moved to the BX in '94. After rhyming in the BX for a while they hooked up wit another rapper, Dumezdae. Al and Dumez started The Rezedents of Boogie. Yo, when these niggas concentrated in da lab it was like a college course. The Rez maintained to bring it to you live, even though labels fronted. Around '96 the Rez met up wit DJ Dubb, who eventually started rhyming on some of the Rez joints. Audiences who heard these niggas work were more than overwhelmed. Shit was most definitely HOT! This time around Al was doing his solo project. Still down wit the crew, He is releasing his own CD called "Hits, No Skits" on his own label, Pen Pad and Wind Recordings. The CD consists of 15 tracks, a few Rez tracks and new works. No doubt a headbanger! It's some hot shit that's going on here!
