Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Good/Odd collabo.......2004-12-09

Daz & JT are together in an odd combination to bring a pretty good album. It only has 12 songs, 2 of which have neither Daz or JT on it, and only 7 have both of them on it, and it has a lot of guests. Better than there "Game For Sale" album. Unfortunately Daz or JT didn't produce 1 song on here, all were done by Sean T. It has 1 classic and a few good songs, with 2 that I skip, and the rest being average.

#1 - 8 (Daz, JT, Telly Mac)
#2 - 8.5 (JT, Cosmo, Commisiona -- good beat)
#3 - 10 (classic w/ great beat -- Daz, JT, Telly Mac)
#4 - 7.5 (daz & c-style -- also on Daz' "R.A.W.")
#5 - 5.5 (JT, Play P, commissiona)
#6 - 7.5 (daz, jacka, jt, buddah, commisiona)
#7 - 8 (san quinn & Pookey -- slower/deeper song)
#8 - 8 (daz, jt, telly mac, cosmo)
#9 - 8 (daz, jt, telly mac)
#10 - 7.5 (jt, killa tay, cosmo)
#11 - 6 (daz, jt, telly mac, killa tay)
#12 - 7 (telly mac, commssiona, guce)

5 out of 5 stars this is a bangin cd.......2002-10-20

jt is tight and daz is one of the best producers in cali next to dr. dre this whole joint is tight and radio should play it more but this is another much slept on westside project.

3 out of 5 stars Deceiving.......2002-02-28

I'm really sorry to disagree with the other reviewers but I think it was a dissapointment. For a few reasons. First of all, in my opinion Daz and JT are two of the best rappers/producers in the game right now. But none of the tracks are produced by any of them. The beats are by Sean T, who is good, but I don't think he can handle a whole . Secondly, if you think that this is a Daz/JT album, you're dead wrong. It's much more of a RUSHED COMPILLATION, with Daz and JT making real short appearences (none of them has more than 1 verse in a song). I can't say that the artists featured are bad, but there's nothing special about them (except San Quinn and Killa Tay of course who actually are VERY talented). Of course Daz and JT's verses are the best thing on the album, but they're hardly felt, because of the bellow-averege rappers featured. If this were a real serious project, it would have Daz producing in (together with JT) and they would rap much more, with only major figures featured on it. I hope Game for Sale is better.

4 out of 5 stars Daz & JT.......2002-02-17

Obviously, when I first heard about Daz & JT hookin up to do some music together, I thought they wouldn't even compare to the duo of Daz & Kurupt a.k.a. Tha Dogg Pound/DPG , but I was way off. The best from the West & the best from the Bay put it down very well together on "LongBeach 2 Fillmoe." It's got tight beats & great lyrics from this unlikely duo.

There are only a few disappointing things about it:
1) Its 12 tracks make it a very short album.
2) Out of the 12 tracks, Daz & JT are only togther on 7 of them.
3) Out of the 12 tracks, 2 of them do not have Daz or JT.
4) There are too many guest appearances, ranging from Lil C-Style to San Quinn. It's not that they are bad guests, it's just that with such a short album, you are left sort of wanting more. There ain't a single song on this album with just simply Daz & JT alone.
5) Previously released songs. I'm not sure how many have been released before, but I recognized the song "One Nine" within the first 2-3 seconds as the song "One-Nine-99" off Daz's solo "R.A.W." album.

But even with all of these disappointing things, you have to keep in mind that the album still contains some amazing music. I recommend all Daz Dillinger & JT The Bigga Figga fans buy "LongBeach 2 Fillmoe."

Now that I have heard this album & liked it so much, I am lookin forward to buying Daz & JT's 2nd album that they did together titled "Game For Sale." I just hope it's as good as this one.
