The gangsta ish not the wicket ish!.......2007-06-22
Esham slowed down his beats toned down on the blaz4me and produced a high quality gangsta rap album 4da 96. When I first heard this album it didn't move me. I now don't know why. The beats are suductive and haunting. He still has his usual crazy talk. This album also has a sense of hopelessness to it. As with most esham albums it might not appeal to you especialy if you are into the pop rap that killing hip hop now. But if you want good production and an album that is not talking about money this us for you
Masterpeice.......2006-08-12
this album is Esham at his prime, more focused than ever.
Every song is morbid and nihilistic as hell
its hard to beilive this album is already 10 years old!
thats insane! i remember bumping this cd as a kid, this and closed casket alone in my room with the lights off and just think crazy thoughts.
There is probably 2 songs i skip past when i listen to this cd
but i can listen to this album for 8 whole hours and still be entertained
Godfather of the Detroit Sound?.......2004-10-16
Originally from Detroit I grew up on the classic Esham/Natas Acid Rap. Dead Flowerz is Esham's best release to date. Out of a catalog of over 20 release CDs. Dead Flowerz is the best release out of Michigan then Dayton Family's F.B.I. Ain't no cat from Detroit that hasn't been influence by Esham in some form. From I.C.P to Twiztid with their classic House Of Krazees' group. Even Eminem has been influence by E. Esham was at his best with Dead Flowerz I mean everything was just rite! Lyrics the beats everything was off the fu%king hook! So many emcees have stole his style from Brother Lynch Hung to Necro. Even 2Pac was a little influence by E, I got the whole RLP catalog and Dead Flowerz is the best album outta the whole Esham/Natas collection. Check him out. The Wicketsh%t will NEVER DIE!
classic.......2004-07-18
Eshams most ground breaking cd
even though it is less wicked its more street. it sounds more profesional esham used less samples except on tracks like "black orchid" or "kill or be killed". and if u listen to "what did i do wrong"....esham was ahead of his time.that cam'ron sampled the voice in "oh boy" from the same song sham used.listen to kanye west "through the wire" with the woman singing....esham been doin' that
Your collection is not complete without this..........2004-05-04
This album, along with many other Esham/Natas albums, is one of the best albums of the 90's. He keeps it underground here, but expands his style. This is not his BEST album, but it is one of. Best cuts are What, You Better Ask Somebody, Kill Or Be Killed, What Did I Do Wrong, Foodstamp, Any Style You Want, Because, Trick Wit Me, and If I Can't Have U, but the VERY BEST SONGS here and some of the best songs i have EVER heard are Killagram, One Day, Charlie Manson and Silicone. This album is a MUST for all esham fans, and ANY RAP FAN. Seriously you MUST check this out if you havent already. One of the best underground albums ever, along with the best Esham album EVER - Closed Casket. Also check out Kkkill The Fetus, and Boomin Words From Hell to hear Esham near his best, and get Natas' Doubelievengod and Multikillionaire: The Devil's Contract, because they are well worth your money.

Do You Know?.......2003-01-04
Is this the cd with the song um i forgot what its called but the chorus goes something like "Im Gettin Ill" I cant figure out the name of the song if you know could you post right quick on here and the album cool then
Esham passes the test of time.......2002-03-06
i wouldnt say its "one of the hardest albums" from Detroit, but its definetely one of the best. the hardest would probly be Eshams first release, Boomin words from hell. this one was where Esham really grew in my opinion. this is where he saved himself from being just another mainstream reject who acts like hes staying independent on purpose. if it werent for tracks like "you betta ask somebody" "u aint fresh" "one day" and "silicone", also "almost lost Detroit" off doubelivengod, E would have slipped through the cracks and become too far in one direction to appeal to straight up rap fans. the fact that he appeals to rap fans as well as strict Acid fans is probably his secret to being the king of the Rap underground, not just the king of Acid.
Album was outcold!.......2000-02-16
Dead flowers was one of the hardest albums to ever emerge from the streets of the "D". I even put it in my all time favorite collection of rap.Esham is a straight up Detroit Dog.All these out of town bustas makin comments talkin about wasnt what they expected from Esham.Esham came hard as hell on this one for dam sho!
slower but still got that killer's pace.......1999-06-18
this cd will probably only be enjoyed by real Esham fans,a step in a different direction in some ways but still keeps the same idea with tracks like 'one day'..this cd is probably the first in a series of musical expansions for the genius that is Esham
ESHAM's best........1999-04-17
This is, in my opinion, is ESHAM's best, the track "you betta ask somebody" is for all the people in Detroit. "One Day" has to be his best track on here next to "Silicone". If you dont have this CD definitely pick it up, only if you are a REAL fan.
