Very good album.......2007-03-16

I heard this album for the first time 8 years after it came out, and it still sounds better than the majority of music that comes out today. Sauce is one of the illest rappers I've ever heard. If you like NY hiphop, this is a must buy. I love the beats on here too, definitely reminds me of Jay-Z a little.....

Most of the Songs are good but you have some songs that are not all that but the songs that are hittin are hittin you have the song with Jay-Z Puff and Memphis Bleek this album I can get over the songs that aint that good but this album is pretty good

Well Sauce does bring great charisma and dope lines I just can't get past the production. Very average production from a MC who can offer more to a fresh beat. C+ at best (thanks to jigga)

Sauce's debut is decent. It has a few great tracks (2 classics), 8 ok songs, and a few sh*tty ones I skip (3 of them). Despite if the song is good or not, he is a good mc. The production has a lot of sounds that are almost like "rock" music but a few of them are good even with a lot of "A" list producers on the boards. Mr. Rapture does the most producing (6 songs), with Clark Kent, Spencer Bellamy each doing 2, and Omante Ward, Marley Marl, Big Jaz, EZ Elpee, DJ Premier, and PRestige all doing 1 song. Features Memphis Bleek, Puff Daddy, & Jay-Z (his long time pal who should have helped him get this album the production & buzz it needed to be a great album). If you can find it cheap I'd pick it up but I wouldn't pay full price for it.
