Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Bassssss.......2005-10-28

Bass Junkie is Phil Klein, European Electrobass guru, who got his start on Dynamix II records with this album. Good stuff.

5 out of 5 stars Early Jackal and Hyde.......2005-07-07

Before Jackal and Hyde (Scott Weiser and Todd Walker) blew up the spot they started as Bass Junkies. Scott is in this group and is one half of Dynamix II as well (the greatest electro bass and breaks group of all time!). This album is bass and electro heavy and has a bass drop of 4hz so be warned. Extremely rare and out of print, I received my copies from an awesome source out of Florida, the home of bass and early influential electro bass and breaks. Scoop this one up if you are a fan of Jackal and Hyde, Dynamix II, or electro bass and breaks but watch the bass levels or you may find yourself with blown woofers. ;-)

5 out of 5 stars The most essential electro bass album you've never heard of.......2001-06-11

Unfortunately, this appears to be out of print as of the date of this writing(sun. june 10th 2001). This album is in the same vein as any electro-bass/brkbt/great you'd care to name(bambaataa, kraftwerk, anthony rother, dynamix 2 et. al).I can testify to this only because i found a cassette copy at one of those used cd/cassette joints in hollywood bch.
