5 out of 5 stars I be str8 chev strikin.......2006-05-02

To be honest, I bought this album and didn't open it for like three months. When I finally opened it and listened to it, I felt so stupid. What the hell was I thinking comes to mind! Mac Dre and Khayree laid str8 game on this album. Mac Dre spitting and Khayree producin.......what more can you ask for? My fav. cutz are.....all damn day, my chevy, gift of gab, im in motion, california livin, and youg playah. This is a cd that I can listen to all the tracks without skippin any. You have got to cop this and any other Mac Dre(RIP) cd you can get your hands on. Khayree is a musical genius

5 out of 5 stars Greatest Rapper of all Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2003-11-22

If you are a fan of bay area rap, you must own this CD. Mac Dre is the sickest flowwing rapper of all time and he brings it with some of the tightest lyrics. Mac Dre and Khayree create the greatest combination of rapper and producer to ever hit the shelves. If you don't own all the old Young Black Brotha cuts like Ray Luv and Dubee, then you should kill yourself.

5 out of 5 stars ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE YOUNG BLACK BROTHA RECORDS CLASSICS.......2002-04-01

What else can I say? The album is a pure masterpiece. The combination of Mac Dre and genius producer Khayree is just tremendous. I love every single song on the album. Even though some of the best tracks on the album were recorded over the phone while Dre was in the penn, I still can't stop listening to them as well. Everyone knows Bay Area Rap will tell you that this album is a classic (as were the first albums of Ray Luv, Mac Mall, Young Lay and Dubee - the other former Young Black Brotha members). Perfect albums almost never come out these days, and that's a shame. These days, you're glad if 10 out of 15 songs are great, while on this one (and many other westcoast albums in the mid 90's) it's all perfect.

5 out of 5 stars str8 chev strikin.......2002-03-06

what can i say? they just dont make this typa stuff no more. from start to finish, this is a straight classic. this cd is like the anthem for anyone who lives like a playa. if you got any [jive] in your blood, you gonna feel this one, but if youz a hata... well, [dang] it, i dont care what you do. Man, I turn on the radio nowaday and i just wanna put a bullet in it. i generally dont listen to anything released less than 4 years ago unless its hella underground, which is the only place your gonna find any quality raps these days.

5 out of 5 stars The World Is Yours.......2007-05-19

I have to give Khayree major props for this album. It just has such a positive vibe to it, that you cant help but love this album. For those who dont know, Khayree is a musical genius. He puts his heart and soul into his productions, and they always come out tight. When he produces something it always has that old school funk type sound to it. Like a previous reviewer said, he is a musician not a producer. I could go on and on about it, but the point is you should cop this album. Especially if you like the albums he produced for Mac Dre, Ray Luv, Dubee and Mac Mall. I'm telling you to pick this up. You wont regret it.

5 out of 5 stars Buy This CD.......2007-01-02

I feel the need to promote this cd since there's about 10 for sale for under $2. (about $5 w/ shipping). Khayree (who produced this cd) is responsible for all the music on these classic cd's you might know -

Mac Dre - Young Black Brotha
Young Lay - Black N Dangerous
Ray Luv - Forever Hustlin
Mac Mall - Illegal Business
Dubee - AKA Sugawolf
Constant Drama Compilation
(plus many more)

For all you Mac Dre fans, his 3 songs on here are solid as hell if you haven't heard em. check out livin that life especially. some real storytellin and meaningful lyrics, a pre-thizz dre.

This cd has a vibe to it that is real cool. this isn't a lot of boastin and bullsh---in, it's all right there on the level. real life lyrics and production talent that is rare in rap, prested with real feeling and soul. so check it out ya cheap bast---

5 out of 5 stars One of the best Rap+R&B compilation albums of all time.......2005-08-23

This album is all about Khayree, the man and his music. Ever since he produced Mac Dre's album "Young Black Brotha" and Ral Luv's "Get my money on" in 1993 on Strictly Buisness Records, the man has proved to be one of the greatest producers in rap and R&B together! Khayree is a genius. He's not just a producer, he's a MUSICIAN! Forget all those so called hottest producers, such as Dr. Dre or Lil' Jon. Those guys only make BEATS, catchy beats for the audiences. What Khayree does is create music! You can't get enough of his production skills, his music is so smooth and melodic. It has been that way ever since 1993, and it showed on all those Young Black Brotha Records classic albums by Ray Luv, Mac Mall, YOung Lay and Dubee. About this album - it was released in 1997 on Khayree's label (of course - YBB Records). The album has got the trademark Khayree production - his beats are just smooth, catchy, it's just music. The album is a mix of laid-back rap songs and some RnB as well. It's just plain perfect - There aren't too many big names on the album. The only big playas on the album are : Mac Dre, Dubee, Big Syke, Ray Luv and JT The Bigga Figga and Sleep Dank. The rest of the performers on the album are all rappers and singers from YBB Records, such as the group No Name Yet, The Confident One, the trully amazing Shima (that girl is SO TALENTED! How could a lame-a** singer like Ashanti blow up, when Shima is 10,000 times better that her. She's also so sweet), Anthony King and others. Everyone does a great job, including the young and unknown artist. Some of you don't know, but Khayree's also a capable singer, and he sings on many of the songs. As I said, most of the album is very laid-back with that RnB feel. However, on track no. 10, someone says to Khayree "I don't think you do gangsta sh** any more...). And then - Khayree drops one of the hardest and darkest beats in his career, and Big Syke just tears the track up with his vicious flows and lyrics. Best song is no. 7 , featuring one of Khayree's best beats EVER (and that says a lot) - the piano and the drum beat are just breathtaking - that track hits HARD!!!! This whole album is a make-you-feel good album, it flows perfectly from song to song, the rappers and singers all do a great job, while the center of attention is dedicated to the music, all produced by the genius Khayree. It's amazing to see his growth and his sound developing. The Blackalation (The World is Yours) is a true classic.

4 out of 5 stars Great Production.......2001-07-01

This shows Khayree's gifts to the fullest. It lays out some tracks with that hard gangsta sound, and then switches it up with some soulful beats. It's mix of Rap as well as R & B make it a great album to listen to. It's got some uplifting songs as well as those ghetto tracks that make you feel the rapper while nodding your head. A must in any rap fans collection.

5 out of 5 stars Say what you want the album is great!.......2001-08-07

The album is short and there are a few remixes on it, but I can listen to this album all the way through. It's great to roll to cause it got them funky Khayree beats with Dubee signature flows. This is a must have for all of those who loved those old Young Black Brotha relesaes from Mac Mall, Ray Luv and Dubee.

Yeah, this is the sh#t. That bay area sh#t. Heavy tracks with deep bass by khayree, and tight rapping from mac mall. This was one of the tight, tight albums of 93'. Start to finish, its cool all the way through. I will never let this go missing or get fu#@ed up. If you like bay area or rap altogether, then you need to know about this and have it if you don't already. Later!

Mac Mall's best. One of the west coast's best EVER.If you don't have it, get it and if you don't get ; you don't get it!

5 out of 5 stars Bay Area's Finest.......2004-01-07

I was amazed after I had listened this album. This is one of the best ever, and the beats are definitely the best. Underground super-producer Khayree gave those unbelievable beats, where Mac Mall could deliver his gangsta mack rhymes. All the tracks are off the hook, the whole album is Bay Area style at it's best. The 5 stars aren't enuff for this.

    5 out of 5 stars Renaissance.......2003-02-13

These songs may look familiar, but they are actually recreated with the most amazing production behind Dre. There are practically three Mac Breakdowns in each track, so you go along for a Mac Dre ride with like thirty compositions of music by Khayree. It can never get played out.

5 out of 5 stars bring back the classics.......2002-10-06

If you don't like the old Mac Dre [stuff], get this album, you will. I didn't pick it up at fist because I had all the Mac Dre albums, but I decided to because of the 2 unreleaced tracks, "My Folks" and "Feelin Like That Ni**a". And I'm glad I did. All the beast are tight because of the master producer Khayree. Mac Dre and Khayree go togather like 2Pac and Dr. Dre. I would of given it 4.5 stars (but I couldn't) because theres only 11 tracks. Pick this one up though.

This album is another supreme demonstration of Khayree's ability to create and Dubees ability to pimp, not on the streets though. Dubees ability to comically create as in "Throw Ya Hand Up" and educate the P.H.ers how game can be tightly laced. Mac Dre once said "Khayree and I are like peanut butter and jelly", with the addition of Dubee to YBB, they all come together like bread.
