Customer Reviews:
Amazing.......2005-06-12
Yo, this CD is incredible. Krumb snatcha has a massive amount of talent. Ayy, to anyone who lives in NEw YORK or BEAN-TOWN (boston) do any of y'all know who S.T.R.E.E.T is? Yo i've listened to their singles on 'undergroundhiphop.com', but i haven't been able to find any of their albums ANYWHERE. S.T.R.E.E.T consists of emcees 'TERMANOLOGY' & 'ED ROCK'. Termanology has an album that came out last year but i forgot what it's called. S.T.R.E.E.T is a group FROM BOSTON but no ones seems to have heard of them. N-e-wayz...all of their songs that are on the website undergrondhiphop are just to great to put into words. To me.....THEY ARE thee greatest talent to come out of BOSTON. Y'ALL BOSTON HEADZ LOOK OUT AND PEEP THEM OUT AAIGHT? CHECK EM OUT. PEACE.
A Rugged, Raw MC At His Best.......2003-10-21
Krumb Snatcha in my opinion is one of the best lyrical MC's out there. After hearing him on Gangstarr's "Moment of Truth" album, I had to cop one of his solo albums. If you like hot beats produced by Dj Premier and if you like rugged, raw underground rap this is a must-have cd. This cd is for all the underground heads out there thats sick off all the commercial rap on the T.V. with the same boring videos and the same boring crap.[such as Fabolous, LL, Fifty Cent etc..] The best songs on the album are Remarkable, To All the Killas and Everyday Struggle. Plus hes down with Gangstarr and I like that he's from Boston. Krumb Snatcha is an ill MC and its dudes like him that keep hip hop alive. This is a great album and I loved it. You got to cop it, it's off the hook.
lawtown to brooknam.......2002-08-21
"Closer to God" is one of the best tracks I've ever heard, and Krumb Snatcha's verse on GangStarr's "moment of Truth" album is the same cat on tracks like Gangsta Disease and others. Some of the later tracks drag a bit, but they're hot, too, with some good verses by other guys like Timbo King and them. Good to see boston back on it (even though this came out some years ago and I think Krumb's falling off and Akrobatic RUNS the town now.)
Boston underground classic.......2002-05-23
First off, I liked Krumb from day one when I saw "Mobsters" on a German TV hip-hop show, Word Cup. That track was banging! After hearing "Mobsters" almost continuously, I decided to download Krumb 1st debut EP. I waited a real raw underground album 'cause I knew he's hooked up with DJ Premier. I had high expectations.
After downloading the EP, I had to admit that: Krumb and Primo are another tight companion in the history of underground hip-hop. Krumb EP is hella tight. Ain't no weak tracks on it. The whole EP is a musical- , lyrical- and "Mental Orgazm". The samples are tight, the beats are tight and Krumb lyrical abilities make him a real MC. I can't say no bad words about the album. the only thing I can mention is that the album don't contain the original version of "Gangsta disease"... Unfortunately... Because I like that version better but the remix is also tight. You know other people's "Simple Words" just don't move me but Krumb is something else. He is hot to Death. He's "Remarkable" and he talk "To all the killas", "Hustlers" with his "Hardcore" rhymes. You feel?
All in all, Krumb is a master like Rakim, Kool G Rap or his great ancestors.
Told: 5 stars! One!
