Block For Block Glock For Glock.......2007-04-30
As many people wondered, the songs contained in "Now Eat: The Movie" are not on the 'Now Eat: The Album' except 'I'm That Nigga' by T-Nutty. The majority of the songs played on Now Eat are from this album right here(along with ex-Sickmade member Loki`s Illegitamati and `Head Drama Volume 1`.)
'Mr. No Print' featuring the Swartzaniggas, was the first named Swartzaniggas track recorded. This is one of my favorites, since the first time I heard it. This was also one of Tall Cann G's first rap appearances to appear officially, and got me into Mr. Cann's work. Sicx starts off the track, coming hard as the main representor for the Swartzaniggaz. COS follows up with a pretty fresh verse. I'd never heard a COS verse I liked until I heard this track. Check this track if you have doubts about buying the album, this songs addicting.
'Fair Warning' also appears to be a newer track, with production by Phonk Beta(the track is just an insert of sickness from the mind of Sicx. Manson Mind.)
'One Nigga Dead' is a needless-to-say classic. Everyone loves this track, one solo that established Sicx's talent. This was featured in a scene from 'Now Eat', in which Brotha Lynch gets a chainsaw and gets some nice cuts courtesy of Dubb-Sak's flesh for a barbeque. Do I have to say more? Watch Now Eat if your on that ripgut status.
'For The Funk of It' features X-Raided, and is obviously old-school. This song is long, clocking in at eight minutes. Sicx and Lynch rap for the majority of the track, X ending with a short verse. X still comes sick, although I wish his verse had been longer. A lot of the "baby-killer/devil rap" comes in on this one, reminiscent of the Season of tha Sickness era(Sicx remained in this era for every single album and song he did, never switching up his style. True Sickmade).
'Devils and Gunsmoke' is the only Brotha Lynch solo on this album. One excellent solo is better then five mediocre ones, though. The production is dark, and sounds unique even though there are samples all over the place. Lynch stays with the classic Atheist Baby Killer persona, and many agree this is one of the sicker verses Lynch spit on this album. IE: "A Nigga Wit' A Mind So Bad, Close my eyes, and all I see are little bloody babies in a Glad Bag."
I could go on for ten more paragraphs about how dope this album is, but you got enough info to cop this. If you liked 'Season of the Sickness' or 'Dead 4 Life', Lynch and Sicx's solo debuts, then you'll love this album. This is a must-have in the collection of Sickmade Muzzic, and sets the bar for all future releases to follow. Sicx does the majority of this record. Sicx is my favorite rapper, and songs like 'Nigga Deep' and 'Crawl Thru The Hood' show you why. This album is a necessary evil, so pick this up if you want a dose of that sickness.
