This has been my favorite since it was released. Players Ball by Outkast is the best song on the cd! Don't miss this one - we play it every Christmas as our family tradition!

A superb Christmas album.......2003-12-11

This is a must buy for all of Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds fans. This whole cd has been produced by the musical genious Babyface. The melodies on most all tracks has that Babyface touch and sound on it. For those of you who are Babyface's fans will know exactly what I am talking about. Do not miss out on this album. It is definetly a classic.

The best Christmas CD ever!!!!.......2002-12-08

I first bought this on cassette a long time ago. I instantly fell in love with TLC's "Sleigh Ride" and "All I Want For Christmas" Usher's wonderful rendition of "This Christmas" Toni Braxton's musically perfect rendition of "The Christmas Song" , which to me is the best recorded version of this Christmas classic EVER! and A Few Good Men's version of "Silver Bells" is also great. The only bad parts of this CD are Outkast's debut single "Player's Ball" and MacArthur's (who?) version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" are just not good and have no place on this CD. But over all if you want to listen to some good music while trimming the tree or opening presents on Christmas day, I highly recommend this CD!

A cool album.......2000-12-13

A nice mix of old and original Christmas songs sung by some of the biggest names in R&B. The traditional songs here, have each been given their own special modern touch by each artist. A Few Good Men do a wonderfully smooth rendition of 'Silver Bells' and Toni Braxton sings a lovely soulful 'The Christmas Song'. TLC puts a lot of joy and fun into 'Sleigh Ride'. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is for the Outkast song 'Players Ball'. It is a rap song and not very Christmassy sounding. But the other songs are worth 5 stars.

This is a great Christmas CD. At first I didn't think there were that many songs on it. But now I think there's plenty. The songs are so good I don't need anymore. I love all the songs. The Outkast song "Player's Ball" is kind of weird for a Christmas song but I still like it. TLC is on here twice and they do a great job on both of the songs, "Sleigh Ride" & "All I Want For Christmas". A Few Good Men also appear twice on this CD too. They do a great job too. Toni Braxton does "The Christmas Song". I really like it, even though I think I like the song more than Toni Braxton herself. I still think she did a pretty good job. Usher sings "This Christmas" on this CD. That has got to be one of the best songs on the CD. McArthur sings one of my favorite traditional Christmas songs "Have Yourslef A Merry Little Christmas". He does a great job on that song. There's also another song on this album by the whole LaFace crew. Outkast, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, A Few Good Men, everybody. It's called "Joy All Day" and it's the one song where they all sing together. It's a great song even though it's considered an interlude. This a great CD. You have to get it. This is the best Christmas CD since SWV's "A Special Christmas". And even out of those two, I still can't pick which one is my favorite. Get this CD now. Don't let the season go by without it.
