The Source
Boo has done her homework. Gritty without having to fake it, she has the wit and strength reminiscent of Boss--without the promise of one-hit wonderdom.

Boo Bounce's Back.......2004-09-20
Gangsta Boo comes back with Enquiring Minds 2: The Soap Opera. This is my second favorite CD from her. She flows well on her own, but can lay it down proper with back up. She raps about her days dealing, backstabbing buisness partners, and life in general. Buy this CD if you love hardcore rap. Buy this CD if you love good music in general.
A Release Without The Production of Juicy J & DJ Paul.......2004-07-25
I think this album is good, but the production of the album is weak. I think that Gangsta Boo should have found someone who has some good production for her lyrics. She is a good underground rapper. "Spinnin & Sippin", in my opinion, is the strongest track on thia album. This releass is a good effort to show her fans that she can come out some good songs without the production of Juicy J & DJ Paul. If you are a hardcore Gangsta Boo fan, I suggest you to cop this album before it goes out-of-print.
bye bye boo.......2004-07-16
this cd was horrible imho. gangsta boo is threw without three six, her lyrics and corny and simple as ever now and she aint got no dj paul and juicy j caliber producers on her tracks so bye bye boo well see how far u go without hypnotized minds

Gangsta Boo is Tearing the Club Up!.......2006-04-06
Shortly after the release of the successful Three 6 Mafia album "World Dommination" (which is considered by many, including myself, as their best album), Hymnotize Mindz (run by The Legendary DJ Paul and Juicy J) decided it's time for a solo album. Actually, none of the official Three 6 Mafia members were (and still are) into solo records, and you could see - it took them many years untill Paul and J released their albums. So it was time for Gangsta Boo to shine, with help from all the Hypnotize Minds members. First of all, even since I first heard her on "Mystic Stylez" it was obvious - Gangsta Boo is the best female rapper ever, period. Lil' Kim, Foxy Brown, Laurin Hill, Missy Elliot, and all those others haven't got sh** on Gangsta Boo (aka The Devil's Daughter). Unlike those wack ass woman rappers, Gangsta Boo: (a) Has got something to say, (b) has got lyrical skills, (c) raps with a very powerful delivery, (d) doesn't have to rap about sex, diamonds or dress like a h** on videos in order to be worth listening to. Bottom line is, that Gangsta Boo is just awesome! She rarely raps about that sex stuff, and her raps are strictly gangsta. She can switch her flows, do hardcore songs, and some more laid back or personal. You can actually listen to her raps, to her delivery and to what she has to say, and you are actually listening to a real rapper, better than 95% of male rappers out there. This album is a Hymnotize Minds album for sure. HCP members are all over the album (they aren't listed on many of the songs on the tracklisting) and as usual, they do an excellent job! The beats are just untouchable, and DJ Paul and Juicy J proved once again that there is no producer in the South that can compete with the level of their production. As usual, the beats are just ADDICTIVE, what can you say. They are dark, yet melodic and so intresting. The sound is RICH, with all kinds of effects used on every songs - sometimes it's a voice sample, a word, a sentence - sometimes it might be a sound of a breaking glass. Those guys are geniuses, period. This album came out right before the released of the Tear Da Club Up Thugz, HCP and Project Pat albums, and it symbolized to me, the best era in the Hypnotize Minds discography. You might have not noticed, but Paul and J have released over 30(!!) albums during the last 10 years, and they never EVER fell off! IT's the same with this album, which is a masterpiece. Gangsta Boo is the best female rapper ever (too bad she left a few years later) and with the help of her labelmates and the unbelievable production she released a very special album. This one is a classic, a definite 5 star. It's got 20 songs and you won't skip even one! Now how rare is that.
Hypnotize Minds.......2005-04-21
Three 6 Mafia's own first lady Gangsta Boo's first solo release was her time to shine and she sparkled everywhere. As like all Hypnotize Minds' releases, the production was done entirely by D.J. Paul & Juicy J, whom as well is heard throughout this lp. Enquiring Minds did have an anthem within from "Where Dem Dollas At" which sounds like it was made for strippers. "Oh No" featuring Fatal of Outlawz is an eye opener with the glass breaking effects in the song. Boo stick to the crunk style that Three 6 fans are used to with titles like "Don't Stand So Close" and "Who We Be" featuring the Prophet Posse. Crunchy Black and Project Pat team up with Gangsta Boo on "Be Real" and "This Is Personal". "High Off That Weed" is another crunk title where she explains her hobby of smoking. Influenced, lead, and taught by Paul and Juicy kept her in the right direction. Gangsta Boo answered all questions concerning her and the Mafia on this 21 track disc. With finess, she flexed her strength as a solo artist as well.
A female MC with something to say worth listening to .......2004-09-20
I bought this CD feeling skeptical because of her name. I was wondering if she was even legit. But then, I came to this website and saw that she is creditable. She has three CD's and they all have great ratings. I bought it, and I heard that, behind her thick southern accent, were words that had meaning. She definetly has talent. I love Lil' Kim and Trina, but Gangtsa Boo is more of a legit MC than they are. She isn't pop. She is underground, which makes it easier to believe when she talks about doing "thug activities". She is really keeping it underground and she can throw down on the mic better then even some men. I recommend this CD because rap, in essence, is going to Hell. The game is getting crowded and with all these new rappers going mainstream, Gangsta Boo keeps it how rap should be, real and underground. She is the best. It is $15.00 bucks worth spent.
CD highlights include: Enquiring Minds, Don't Stand so Close to Me, F**k You, Where Dem Dollas At?, The ones close Know the Most, High off that Weed, Be Real, Nasty Trick, Money and the Powder, and the Where Dem Dollas at Bass Remix
Gangsta Boo's solo debut always a classic.......2003-11-13
I don't understand why this album receives such mixed reveiws. This is undoubtedly the best album she ever put out. Her lyrics were at their best on this album, and the beats have such a dirty south bounce to them. I love her style because she does not just settle on weak sexual lyrics, like other females in the industry. She's also a true gangsta rapper.
nasty trick don't come at me talking that sh@#!.......2003-10-05
I am absolutely elated when I put this cd in. It's smutty, violent and just plain adult fun!!! Gangsta Boo will kill you, deal in illegal substances, and is prone to suicidal impulses. I love her.
