Brad Baloo and Dom Search have been rocking parties as The Nextmen for the best part of a decade, having released two classic production albums Amongst The Madness and Get Over It during that time. They’ve worked with the likes of Rodney P and J Live, and remixed acts such as The Pharcyde, Morcheeba and Public Enemy.

Taking the lead from Madlib and DJ Shortkut, they now provide the third in the Blunted… series, where hip-hop DJs pick their favorite reggae tracks, and cut and blend them like you’ve never heard before. The mix contains some clever hip-hop style mash-ups, as well as two of their own original tracks.

One of the best albums in my extensive reggae/dub collection........2006-03-13

Lets start by saying that this is one of the best albums I own and currently is my favorite. The Nextmen combine the perfect mixture of Hip-hop, Dub, and Reggae to create Blunted in the Backroom. Awesome party CD and even better for just getting blunted and chillin' out.
