I to like everyone think the rapping on this album is just down right terrible. Tracks such as Ride wit me have potential, but where does a Ant Banks beat of that calibre deserve the gayness of the guess whos back the player whos here to stay crap. Even my beloved Big Bad Ass puts down some lame beats on this album which was disappointing and surprising. Still cross me up, gameless mortals and stragglers come through with funky bass that is at least worth bumpin to. This album is only slightly better than lead the way and thats more due to it having a larger range of bangin tracks as apposed to better tracks. I think the lack of typical Ant Banks funk on hes 2 TWDY releases maybe the reason why they have done little else since. But what drugs was Banks on to allow some of the worst hooks Ive ever heard be used with hes beats. I suppose nobodies perfect

Look, dont buy this album for lyrics. Buy it for its supream slappage level. Ant Banks and the guests make this album tight. Rappin 4-Tay is a great MC and Captin Save-em is funny but occasionaly annoying. Luckaly there are many guest appearences that keep the flows strong like: E-40, B-Legit, Keak Da Sneak, Agerman, Spice One & Too $hort.

"Players Holiday" is a classic by any standerds. "The Game" is an old school gangsta style hit. If your into the bay sound this is a great album. "Cross Me Up", "Pervin", "Drinks On Me", "On The Reala" and "Can't Change" are all good songs, but if you dont like bay flava you wont feel these as much, this is why people hate on this album, they dont get it.

If you like that orginal blay area sund, you'll love the album.

T.W.D.Y: Derty Werk.......2002-10-26

This is one of those albums I just did not feel, hence my review being so short. The one exception was track eleven "Players Holiday " an excellent song. A variety of artists appear on this release alot of them relatively unknown and others more known like: E-40, Too Short, Rappin' 4 Tay, Spice 1, B-Legit. I like some of these more established rappers and would preferred seeing more of them on this release. This is not an album I would recommend for the collection.

i thought this cd would be alot better. Even the beats suck. If you really like "playa holiday" buy a single.

DAMN!!!! This cd is so freakin tight, ya just gotta peep it. Pervin, feat. too short and e-40 is tha absolute bomb, and player's holliday should be the summer party jam this year. all the songs have tight beats, so don't playa hate, just buy the tape and you'll be more than satisfied.
