5 out of 5 stars A Mandatory Listen If You've Never Heard Of 415.......2006-09-25

Big League Records only consisted of the rap group 415, which the only solo artists were it's two lead rappers, Richie Rich and D-Loc. Eight of the greatest hits comes from their classic debut "41Fivin'". The highlight track that was never officially released is D-Loc's "Get Loc'd Out", the explicit version. This is a fantastic 1990 Hip-Hop club banger! Forget "Ice, Ice, Baby" and "Good Vibrations". "Get Loc'd Out" didn't make the cut on "41Fivin'" but it should have. The same goes for "Don't Do It" and "Lifestyle As A Gangsta". Those three songs would of made that classic album more well rounded.

ok for those of us who know anythign about bay area music this was the s*it..sideshow..groupie a** bi***,life style as a gantsta..o mayun the only thing missing is ruthless is reality ..that is on the 41fivin ablum..but i aint paying 99.00 for a cd..but in all honesty if u can afford it..get it!!!it is one of the absolute best bay area rap albums ever..i cant even get into it..i was 13 or 14 when this came out..bumpin it on a tape..it is sad that bay area rappers dont get the recognition they deserve.41fivin is out of print & its a shame..so for all u 415 fans, ...get this its as close as u can get to the 41fivin album without payin 99 dollars..i seen a used one for $89..im like dayum..but if u dont know nuthin about the 415..peep this album its got that sideshow on it!..keep in mind this is from like 1989 ya feel me!.

I've been looking for this cd for over a year now. My original copy from back in the daze was lost in the shuffle over the years. I'm juiced to have finally found it!!
If you're gansta you gotta have this in your collection.

5 out of 5 stars Seasoned vets of west coast rap - review from white dude.......1999-08-08

Double-R and D-Loc dropped most of these beats and lyrics on the album "41fivin" at the height of west coast rap, 86 to 93. The album is an original because it personafies life on the streets of Oakland at the time; pimpin, hustlin, true's and vogue's on a drop top candy apple stang with bump in the trunk. Those of you who grew up in Oakland at the time know this era was the best and the music still proves that to be true today.

5 out of 5 stars "A must have for the Bay Area rap fanatic"........1999-06-19

True Oakland funk with that knocking rythm and influencial sound which inspired the 213 Snoop Doggy Dog sound. This is a definate must have for the true gangsta rap fanatic. Richie Rich/D-Loc are an all star combo with funky streetwise lyrics into the insight of the Oakland game. And although its been a decade to the release of some these tracks, the gangster/pimp hardcore beats are still a thrill to listen to without being played out as whack old rythms. Get it now!!!
