Participating in the local music D.J. pool for KUBE 93 radio, I come across only a few talented artists and producers. When Down South Entertainment presented me with it's just da beginning, "Do The Things That Lovers Do" (the title track) packed my dance floor the first time I played it. The production of this compilation CD is outstanding and "Caught Up and Hot Boys" really moves the dance floor. "If You're Hot, You're Hot" is the best instrumental I've heard since the Loonies "Five on It", both for its intro and its musicality. Every D.J. and consumer should have a copy of it's just da beginning in their music catalog!
