4 out of 5 stars 4.5 star double disc soundtrack.......2004-11-12

Death Row was still on top of the rap game for the past 5 years before this release and they continued with this double disc 24 song soundtrack. Features most of the Death Row roster at the time, the Outlawz and some others as well (plus a few R&B songs - which are actually pretty good). The production is great on here and it is a must have for gangsta rap mid 90's west coast fans. The movie is pretty good as well.

4 out of 5 stars Death Row doin it's thang.......2001-08-30

I wasn't that much of a Death Row fan until I heard this album. When I first put it in, Made Niggaz was the first song I heard. That's perhaps the hottest joint down by Tupac. That's the song that got me hooked into listenin to Tupac. The song after that with Kurupt was a tight track as well. Skip a lil to 6 Feet wit Storm, well done. Blazin~!! Then Tupac and the Outlaws at the end, another tight one. Then I put in the first CD. It wasn't as good as the Second one, but it still had some good songs on it. "Questions" and "Free em All" were the best on that CD. Tray Dee had a solid performance on it. "Staring At the World through my Rearview" I l kinda liked that one. On "Free Em All" there's a guy tryna sound like Tupac, but that track is still hott. Hollywood Bank Roberry when i first heard it, I didn't like it. that was when I first got it. Now, I heard it yesterday and it was pretty good.
Overall: This is tight. A "MUST GET" mos def.

5 out of 5 stars DEATHROW 4 LIFE.......2000-06-23

5 out of 5 stars THIS IS WHAT DEATH ROW SHOULD HAVE KEPT DOING!.......2000-06-10

Great tracks by Pac, Kurupt, Snoop, Tray Dee needs to release a solo album, Ice Cube was off the heezy, and what about Storm? "Mash For Our Dreams" remains on my playlist. This was an album I was reserved about buying, but it always comes back into my deck to remain a must in my collection. A must buy!

5 out of 5 stars this cd is the bomb, deathrow can really kick it.......1999-07-26

5 out of 5 stars Death Row At It's Best.......2006-09-03

It's not often you find a CD with bangers from beginning to end - here you have TWO that are non-stop bangin' tracks from start to finish. You have standout tracks from 2Pac & The Outlawz, Tha Dogg Pound, even Ice Cube and the Westside Connection make an appearance here - but even better you get a glimpse of some of the less known Death Row artists (O.F.T.B. , J-FLexx, Tenkamenin a.k.a. Tha Realest) most of which never released an album on that label. This soundtrack in my opinion one of the top rap soundtracks of all time.

4 out of 5 stars A good soundtrack.......2005-03-09

This soundtrack is defenetly worth bying with some of the biggist hip hop names on it including ice cube, snoop dogg,mack10,2pac and many more.

3 out of 5 stars Whats Up With That?.......2004-05-03

Where is the jam in the opening credits of the sound track? Let someone know, That's a bad jam!I don't know who has it but I want.
MAFIAAA!!!

4 out of 5 stars Nice Soundtrack, Actually Very Good........2004-04-17

Gang Related realeased in 1997, about a year after 2Pac was killed.
The album features a lot of bangers, but it would have been untouchable if it was a single disc, since it features a few fillers.
Here's the perfect tracklist for Gang Related, which would have given it a 5 star rating, instead of 4.

1. Way Too Major
2. Life's So Hard
3. Greed
4. These Days
6. Mash For Our Dreams
7. Free'em All
8. Starin' Through My Rear View
9. Questions
10.Made N-----
11.Gang Related
12.What's Ya Fantasy
13.A Change To Come
14.Lost Souls

But, anyways this album is definitely worth buying if you like westcoast rap, and if you're a 2Pac fanatic, the four songs of him on this soundtrack are all classics. Must be heard.

4 out of 5 stars 4 great 2pac Songs........2003-04-16

Made Niggaz, Rear view mirror are better then any track that has been put out on any of Pac's recent 2000 and 2001 discs. Pick it up. Thug life indeed. Rear view contains a cool sampling of Phil Collins 'in the air tonite'.

5 out of 5 stars gang related the soundtrack.......2000-09-29

well I do not know who put that stuff about the otha rap star but if Im correct it really doesnt have anything to do with this record anyway this is one of the best music sound tracks Iv ever heard. Personally I also think that 2pac was the best rapper/actor Iv saw in my 20yrs of life and the source magazine about 2yrs ago didnt give him any credit. when they did like the over view of all the greatest records but who needs that. But right now Im letting you the reader know that TUPAC IS THE BEST RAPPER/BEST WRITTER/BEST EVERYTHING that has to do with music and i do not think the source magazine didnt give him the right credit and that it thanks for listening good life.

5 out of 5 stars A great album by Death Row!!!!! Especially my copy!!!.......1999-07-29

I don't know how come, but my copy of this album is different. It has the song "Goin Back to Cali" on CD 1, and on CD 2 - instead of the BGOTI song there's an AWSOME song by The Chocolate Bandit named "Whutz Da Deal". So my version is much better than what everyone has! Try to get it!!
