A REVIEW ABOUT SHY ONES MUSIC:
I'm listening since 1998 to the music of the legendary SHY ONE. When I first heard his music, I couldn't believe that sumone does music that combines all the stuff I love from rap / hip hop, gothic, classical, techno and many more. But it was the truth: The feeling I had was undescribable because I was always looking for such kind of music. It was a bit like if you are looking for sumthin you don't know or can't imagine really.
What is his music? Well, it is not the typical gangsta-style (kill, kill, murder, murder) or the "never ending coolness trip" of a mad and unrealistic wannabe-rappa. No! There are millions of them. But Shy One is real. He stands for: "BACK TO THE ROOTS OF UNDERGROUND RAP" with much love and a much much higher level. His rap is very fast (faster then the known rapper like twister, 3-6 maf and so one...) but also clear and very emotional. You can hear his love to music in every track by the way he expresses his deep lyrics with elements of very fast / very slow and agressive rap, gothic chorusses (made by himself) and weird effects on the base of southside hats and hard complex beats (descending from techno). Mystic sounds enhance every track and letting you entering his world, just consisting of reality. All these many details and different melodies in all his tracks are his "weapons" by catching you and enchanting you. He wants to get you waked up and leads you through his (and also my) deep thoughts. Every track is so different but also so original. There is no artist I saw that uses so many elements in his music, spilling so much creativity to reach much more people from many other genres. Rap is not just a product.

The reason why the music industry is going down is not the copying or downloading of music, it is just the low quality of music that no one really wants to listen to. I first downloaded nearly every track of all his albums but I bought afterwards each album 2 times for myself and many others for promoting in Germany. Why? If you hear this music and you know that there is someone sitting every day and every night for producing such high quality music, working on his skills, producing his own websites, covers, beats, videos, lyrics and stands for his own promotion WITHOUT ANY LABEL then you get a guilty conscience if you don't buy it and just copy it.

This album is the best of Shy One. Most artists only do one or two good albums but every album of Shy One is a better one than the ones before. On this album you will find very fast but also very slow and mystic tracks. The rap style is again more faster but on this album Shy One worked also on his flow and the easier understanding of his excellent lyrics.
