Hey there, if you simply just can't get enough of Switch and debarge then this albom's for you!
Producer Bernd Lichters did a gerat job with this compilation. A few of my favorites are
"Please don't go" featuring an 18 year old Bobby Debarge and his smooth voice. "I'm gonna give my whole life" featuring A. Hayes is another smooth slow jam whilke "Where's the party" is for the dancers. Hey ladies,
(and some men)there are never before seen pics of these sexy guys and a complete hisory of this group.
You definitely wanna pick up "smash" before they're all gone 'cause you can't borrow mine,
you gotta buy your own!

The best album I've ever purchased!.......2004-10-01

I absolutely love! love! love! this album. The cover artwork is original and very colorful. Every song on this album is terrific. This is the kind of album that you can listen to over and over again. Every time I listen to this album, it's like I'm listening to it for the first time. Track #1 "Pall Mall Groove" is a funky instumental that will have you dancing in no time. The catchy tune,"Im gonna give my whole life to music"
featuring Arnett Hayes is well written and beautifully arranged.
One of my favorites on this album is "Your Love" featuring T.C. Brown. There's a lovely piano intro by Bobby Debarge, a guitar solo by Stanley Brown and an awesome sax solo by Darnell Wyrick. The soulfulness and sincerity of T.C.'s voice, as he expresses himself to the woman he loves just draws you in,with beautiful background vocals by Bobby Debarge, Tommy Debarge, Gregory Williams,Jody Sims, and Stanley Brown, this song is definitely a hit. Another one of my favorites is "Please don't let me go " featuring the late great Bobby Debarge. Bobby truely sings his heart out on this one, hitting those beautiful high notes that just gives you chills. This album is what real music is all about. I will treasure it forever!

I love this real music from way back when never released before. Made before Switch was called Switch but has that sound! A must buy for all U old School lovers that enjoy when musicians were real musicians... So if U were around when Gregory Williams formed the group Switch w/the late Bobby DeBarge and Thomas DeBarge u will enjoy this! This is a must cd to buy, if you haven't purchases it then you must do so and listen to the funky beat of the 70's with todays funky sound. Check it out with the funky Poet himself the late Bobby DeBarge**********Trish

Classic historical album. This shows the funky side of Motown group SWITCH before they became SWITCH. What I like especially that all of them played every instrument themself. This is raw funk at its best. Also check out the website http//www.burndsman.com and see the real history of Switch, DeBarge and their mentor Bernd Lichters who started Chico DeBarge as well.
