This is the UK cd single for the huge "Rock Wit U(Awww Baby)" track. The cd comes with 3 remixes plus the original radio version. The Taz & Vangard remix(4:24) and the J.D. Remix(3:54) are R&B/hip hop in the vibe. The Taz & Vanguard mix features a new rap by Taz while the J.D. mix features vocals by UK group member J.D. aka Dready from the So Solid Crew. Each are equally good. The highlight of the cd is the Jay Hannan Lazy Dog Mix(6:30) that is pure heaven. The house vibe with a deep heavy live bass is a great counterpoint to Ashanti's sweeter vocals. When the male voice states "Let's Rock" and the house music kicks out it is a thing of sheer beauty. It is a R&B /Soulful type house mix. A+++++ remixing.

All I can say is Ashanti did her thing in this video. This video really shows that she has grown up alot. I really like this video and when the CD come out Im gonna go and get it. I hope it is as good as the first.

She has one of the most Amazing Careers thus far&I'm Scurred about it.alot of Success&whatnot&I still can't beleive it.some of the music tracks are alright on her Stuff&She is Eye-Candy for Real but as a Artist&all this Princess of Hip-Hop Soul Mess it's Laughable to me.She reminds me of Janet Jackson before She hooked up with Jimmy Jam&Terry Lewis&Janet then was kinda wack to me.but then again Janet then was still better than Ashanti.

Is She For Real?.......2003-07-30

To really be honest with you, I find Ashanti's music to be as a carbon copy of other well known R&B acts today. I really didn't like this song, I find it as a similarity of others. I think that she really needs to try a lot harder to try to find a sound that is all her own, without making any channeling with older acts. She is no Destiny's Child, and no Beyonce Knowles. Personally, I'd prefer Crazy In Love over this.
