Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Probably NOT all the recordings.......2003-10-26

This CD includes ONLY "released" material by Honey & The Bees on Josie Records from 1970-1971. I doubt the group released EVERYTHING they recorded, there must have been a few songs in the vaults. Most of the songs on this disc are from their 1970 album "Love." The remaining few songs were releases in 1971. Most of the songs are good but some don't seem to have "energy." Highlights are "Make Love to Me" and "We Got to Stay Together." The song "Help Me (Get Over My Used to be Lover)" is a big classic, but I don't like it. Although I like the obscure stuff, this group who opened for James Brown are good. If you buy this CD it will make a good choice for your collection.
