Album Description
Everyday Is Distortion is the latest effort from hard electronic artist Christ Analogue. Inspired heavily by events endured in New York over the past 5 years, Everyday Is Distortion takes a diagnostic and critical look at the world around us. The vocals illustrate an unmistakable human passion that can never quite escape the electronic structures that consume them. Musically, Everyday Is Distortion boasts a sound arsenal of filtered percussion and intricate arpeggiations designed from the ground up and sequenced together with mathmatical precision. Creative use of organic instruments establish a cohesive balance throughout this 16 song album.

Customer Reviews:
One of the best R'n'R albums ever!!!.......2007-02-07
This is, in my opinion, Johnny Hallyday's masterpiece, his testament to rock history. Recorded in 1971, under the precious influence of such acts as The Rolling Stones (the opening riff on "Oh! Ma Jolie Sarah" is pure Keith Richards), Creedence Clearwater ("Fils de Personne" is a mind-blowind version of "Fortunate Son") and, especially, Joe Cocker ("Delta Lady" becomes "Fille de la nuit"), this album is a perfect combination of rock'n'roll, blues and gospel. There isn't a single bad moment in this album. Every song is top notch. Hallyday's vocals are amazing and his supporting band, which includes Jim Price and Bobby Keyes (the Stones' and Joe Cocker's brass section), gives the songs an edge rarely heard in the history of rock. Listen to "La Loi" or "Que j'aie tort ou raison" and you'll know waht I mean. A must-buy!!
Swan Song.......2006-07-12
This '71 album of Johnny Hallyday puts an end at the golden age of flower power era, but what for an end: a true masterpiece !
"Oh ma jolie Sarah" sure is one of the most powerful track of all times: hard rock thunder powered by electric and accoustic guitars, hammond organs, piano, violins, choirs...and a Johnny Hallyday on top form !!!
French rock at its best.......2000-05-16
This is rock'n roll like you've never heard before! Try to imagine John Fogerty singing in French and you will have an idea of what this album sounds like. It is no accident that Hallyday covers John Fogerty's "Fortunate son" and Joe Cocker's "Delta Lady". The guy obviously knows his classics. Recorded in 1971 at Olympic Studo in London, this superb album was produced by Chris Kimsey, the official Rolling Stones producer of the time and it features, Bobby Keyes on Sax, Gary Wright on Keyboards and Mick Jones and Jerry Donahue on lead guitar. The lyrics were written by the great French writer Philippe Labro and the songs include two great Hallyday-penned and Hallyday-produced accoustic numbers, "L'autre moitie" and "Tant qu'il y aura des trains" as well as a great stonesy number entitled "Oh ma jolie Sarah". This album is as good as anything produced at the time on this side of the Atlantic. Don't miss it!

Album Description
The Bitcrusher Remixes, the companion release to 2003's critically acclaimed Everyday is Distortion, puts a dance floor edge on the ground breaking intensity you've come to expect from Christ Analogue.
This time they've brought along some friends, including Sister Machine Gun, De-Fragmentation, and Penal Colony to name a few, as well as a collaboration with Jason Bazinet of SMP, and Wade Alin's own reiteration of Ana.
The disc also includes two new tracks, "Breathe" and the performance-favorite "Piss" for a total of 15 previously unreleased tracks!
Customer Reviews:
A Remix Disc That's Actually Worth Buying..........2005-02-22
I normally tend to stay away from remix albums. Nine times out of ten, a remix album consists of basically the same songs from the regular album with a jungle loop thrown in and not much else. With Bitcrusher, this definitely isn't the case. Each mix on the album does a great job of standing apart from the original tracks, and each of them would definitely stand on their own. From my first listen, the tracks that really caught my attention were the Tussin Rub mix of "Sore," An Evening With the Starf-ckers mix of "A Slight Rage," and the Minor Solution mix of "Sustain."
The two original tracks are great, "Piss" (which is available for a free download via Christ Analogue's homepage) being the better of the two. It's very refreshing to hear a danceable industrial track that doesn't sound like the Apoptygma/Wolfscheim/VNV stuff that's big these days (no offense to fans of that flavor of industrial, but I have a hard time telling the difference between any of them anymore). Wade Alin is angry about something, and he (as usual) has no problem venting his rage through his music.
This disc is worth the cash. Even if I had never heard one track off of EDID, I'd still find these mixes enjoyable. Don't miss it.

Customer Reviews:
Choclair.......2004-07-22
best CD of choclairs, he has reached new depths in his style of music and has new, better thoughts; for example the first half of the chorus in skyline, but then the rest.....blah. well anywho he got some videos from this joint; Skyline and Who Dat Is, and practicly half the CD is singles; All I Need, Back Where Ive Stayed, Skyline, and some more ya know? peace
Flagrant is an enjoyable listen........2004-06-09
This is a good album. I haven't heard Ice Cold or Blake Savage but I have heard this and I believe this is one is great. Choclair is a great rapper. I have heard him before on some tracks I have download and knew I had to get his album since he had skills. Here in the US he isn't well known and his only album released here was Ice Cold which sold poorly. The cd's best song is the Circle's "Till Now." Most the other songs are enjoyable, but some songs can be boring though.
Nice CD.......2003-12-26
this is probably choclairs best cd so far. he did great on ice cold, screwed up on memoirs of blake savage (cept for skunk, love 'em all and light it up which was good). it has nice song like till now with the Circle, all i need, thought train, tell em, and hot this year. he has new thoughts with this album and got rid of the infamous line, face down ass up. he has killer beats with saukrates producing and parts of the circle do little parts in each song (which is sweet), and also has adlibs and big sox from Big Black Lincoln. great cd u should buy it.
Choclair chocs up something truely special.......2003-10-05
In his third album choclair proves he's probaly the best or one of the best rappers of Canada,he's right up there with swollen members and kardinal offishall. In this album he talks about his life and how he became a rapper. He proves what it took and what he did to get where he is today. Many people say Choclair is a rapper that hasn't proved anything they are all wrong if it wasn't for Choclair Canada probaly wouldn't be on the map for rappers so give Choclair some credit. The best songs on this cd are back where i've stayed, skyline, glistenin and Thought Train.Choclair is a great rapper and i compare him to Jay-Z,Fabolous,P Diddy,Nelly and Cam'ron.Choclair has very similar styles and lyrics as these very great and talented rappers. If you don't believe Choclair is a good rapper you are wrong.Ever since Light it up chocs has proved he was in the right direction of success. He is still young and has lots of potential and I can't wait to see what his next albums will be like.If you're a canadian and you like rap I recommend this cd because it was Choclair who put Canada on the map.Go choclair and go canada the greatest country in the world.
Choclair- Flagrant.......2003-09-26
Choclair's latest album is "Flagrant" (2003). I noticed in the editorial it mentioned this as being his second, it is actually his third (Ice Cold, Memoirs of of Blake Savage). Choclair releases this on his own label Greenprint through EMI. Executive produced by Kareem Blake (Choclair) & Lee Fredericks this album runs in at twelve tracks and has appearances from: Big Black Lincoln, Solitair,Saukrates, Ro Dolla, Andreena Mill and Niya Melodie. "All I Need in This World Is You" starts the album off, with the track title being sung in a chorus. The first song I heard off this cd was the single "Back Where I Stayed" which got a lot of play on local radiostation 94.5 here. This is an exceptional song where Choclair gets introspective about himself, his younger days, growing up and where he is right now. The beat and background chorus are excellent on this track. This is followed up by another outstanding track called "Skyline", Choclairs lines on this memorable as is the beat and chorus to it. This track also has a nice video. I am not really feeling majority of the rest of the album, lyrically the content does little for me, talking about girls, dropping snoop sounding lines or other lines like "I sent you walking with your Walkman" (Fire) are unentertaining and I personally dont find them worth listening to. One exception is "Watchu Go'n Do", I like how Choclair shows love to different cities from his hometown Toronto to Montreal to Van to NY. Really there are a limited amount of Canadian Rappers out these days, so I always enjoy checking out there albums, I hope that other members of the Circle will get there own albums out soon, artists like Solitaire & Saukrates (who's Def Jam release is being looked forward to by people on both sides of the border). Choclairs third album "Flagrant" is decent, highlight being the albums two singles.
