A Did Well Overture.......2002-05-28

This cd was quite popular upon its release in 1993. Its was the celebration of Ms. Ross' 30th anniversary in the music industry. Accompanied by a autobiogarphy, a vast music video, her entry into the Guinness World Book of Records as the Most Successful Female Entertainer in The World, her French award as Entertainer of The Year and a Top 10 hit in the UK with One Shining Moment, this cd was extremely publicized and gained its hit status. Why do I give it a 3? Beacuse of the audio quality. It is terrible until the second half. Why have a cd with half bad quality and half good? Nice though!

THE ULTIMATE RECORDING.......2004-01-18

The first 4 tracks on this cd Ms Ross sings with the Supremes, which makes it an excellent introduction to the rest of the cd. Tracks 5 - 8, are memorable, to say the least. The remaining tracks are true to form.....this is how we know Ms Ross, the DIVA, the BOSS, the ultimate in entertaining. As was mentioned on her VHS " A TRIBUTE TO DIANA ROSS", she was the FEMALE ENTERTAINER of THE MILLENIUM. I AGREE!!! As a DIANA ROSS FAN, i have to reiterate...this is the ULTIMATE recording/compilation ever put together, and a "must have". I do agree with some of the reviews, whereby, not all her cd's are "great", but then again we have to remember, that one cannot have no 1's all the time. Yes, most artistes go through a slump. Look at Kylie....of late, she made one heck of a comeback, who knows, MS Ross might surprise us all.When one listens to Ms Ross's music, you listen to the words, the emotion..and it feels like you were there, going through the experience, which makes it all wonderful. If you don't own this cd, I suggest that you go out and buy it.
