By 1985 Luther Vandross was the premier ballader in R&B. This album spawned four Billboard R&B singles in "'Til My Baby Comes Home," "It's Over Now," "Wait for Love," and "If Only for One Night." It also featured "Creepin" but Luther's the best at ballads in particular If Only For One Night.

I could never pick a fav.Luther album.But This one and Busy Body are my favs.

I was 4 years old when this came out.Luther was one the few artists as a child that I recognized.My parents played this and Busy Body alot.So those two albums introduced me Luther.

Wait for love-If you can't find love.Don't worry.Don't rush.It'll find you.

My Sensitivity-Emotions take control sometimes when you like or love somebody so much.

The other side of the world-you never know where you'll find love.Right under your nose.

I have to say this is the last fully R&B album Luther would do.Venturing into pop in his future albums.

Luther Vandross's Musical Instrument of a Voice is timeless period. He presented His own Signature vibe to songs&you never forgot them.hearing a "Never too Much" enjoying His Re-Makes of "A House is not a Home" SuperStar until you come back to me,creepin,if only for one night,if this world were mine,etc... you always knew the Luther touch&vibe. He had a special touch as a Writer as well.he made Painful moments smooth,He made good times something to enjoy even more with the way He sung Material.He was something else&Never will be forgotten.
