5 out of 5 stars So What The Fuss?.......2005-08-07

The Fuss is that Stevie Wonder is back and funky! The Fuss is that he has the reunited members of SUPER Funky Divas...EN VOGUE on backing vocals. The Fuss is that legendary artist Prince brings his talents as guitarist.

The Fuss is that Stevie Wonder is commenting on the ills and society, and THAT is a topic hardly ever addressed.

Kudos to Stevie for having the GUTS to record a song with depth.

Can't say enuff 'bout it. But Stevie is kickin' way at the top. That's my main artist and inspiration. He sure has a way to express himself. But this joint right here incl. the remix to the song w/ my man Q-Tip (currently working w/ ATCQ on a new album) is hot and it's off da chain. Alot of people realize this isn't it y'know. But ppl may say this is what Stevie fans are expecting. When I listen to the song, it kinda reminds me of the old days when Dr. Dre put out hit albums and how he produces and how Quincy Jones did it back then when he did the masterpieces of 1989's BACK ON THE BLOCK and Q'S JOOK JOINT. List goes on and on. I was hoping Q would come out w/ an album pretty soon. It's been like y'know 5 to 6 yrs. since his last CD BASIE IN BEYOND, a tribute to his late friend and mentor Count Basie (RIP). Ok I look 4ward of hearing the album and maybe my old man Stevie will do it again on his next album. Nice vibe, cool instrumentation, nice vocals, nice rhythm and nice back-up line and narration from Busta Rhymes, my man.

this track sounds like Stevie 1995 meets a Leftover Dr.Dre Sampled P-Funk Cut from the "chronic" back in 1992. Stevie Wonder hardly puts out New Material these days&I was lookign forward to hearing it,but this is just another Hit&Miss Stevie Cut.been a long time since Stevie Wonder has Moved me with a track.

5 out of 5 stars Stevie At His Best.......2005-09-03

Stevie just gets better as he gets older. There are not too many musicians left that has a track record as long as his. He puts out quality music with substance. What's the Fuss is so upbeat and good dancing music. No one does it better than Stevie.

5 out of 5 stars Stevie Wonder at his best.......2005-09-01

After seeing Stevie perform this song on the music awards show I knew I had to have it.
This CD contains three versions of the song "So What The Fuss" and they are BAD (meaning good). If you get the CD be sure to check out the remix with Q-Tip.
I don't normally blast my music in my car but with this CD I can't help it.

Two thumbs up!

2 out of 5 stars Wondering why this is being released at all..........2005-08-01

What happened to Stevie? Old age? Couldn't be. This album is in serious need of a kick start. His vocal range has obviously diminished some over the years. However, the issue seems to be that he's lost touch and is out of the loop on this one. I've heard a couple other tracks from this album and I'm thoroughly disappointed. The sound is ridiculously synthetic, it's borderline muzak. Actually, it is muzak. Cheap and cheesy. Sure, you can dance to it, but it doesn't make me jump outta my seat. I love Stevie Wonder. I really do. But I share the opinion of the last reviewer. This album is a weak representation of the creative talent Stevie possesses. What is he trying to do? Prove that he's still cool after 10 years? He certainly doesn't need to. I'm a little embarrassed for him, trying so hard to appeal to an MTV audience. I've been waiting for the release for so long, I'm beginning to lose interest entirely. What the fuss?! I think I'll stick to everything prior to 2005, thanks.

4 out of 5 stars The Wonder Still Is Standing.......2005-07-18

It is just so hard to imagine how remarkable Stevie Wonder has been with R&B for so many people. Yet, he hasn't had much of a tiemtable to radio for almost a decade. Still, he has kept the vibe going, and that is just remarkable with his latest track. So What The Fuss, the first track from his upcoming album A Time To Love, is very upbeat, and truly blends in the feel of urban Hip Hop and the strngth of Stevie's classic soul. It is just a great song to get up and dance to from a legend that has stood the test of time for so long. I absolutely love this song, and I hope people can welcome back Stevie Wonder into their lives. That is just no fuss.
