Return of Dragon [Explicit Lyrics]

Return of Dragon [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
Credit Sisqó for avoiding the sophomore slump and sidestepping formula on his rugged and soulful latest. Blessed with a powerful, dare one say overwrought voice, Sisqó has the power to make the phone book (or ditties about undergarments) sound intense. But with the help of Teddy Riley, among others, on Return of Dragon he's working with more interesting material. The single "Can I Live" vibrates with a fierce wiggle, while the heartfelt ballad "Close Your Eyes" is pure hankie material. Of course, this being a Sisqó CD, you have to endure tracks (the first two) in which Sisqó essentially pays homage to his own genitalia. Program the CD player. --Amy Linden

1 out of 5 stars Looking back on Sisqo..........2006-05-14

Today 2006 I can say that this album is one of the worse I ever purchased. If you are thinking about buying it today...please don't. You are better off buying his debut album or any of the Dru Hill albums, exept for that last one off course cause that sucks too. Buying this album will only teach you why he's out of the spotlights.

ok, there are maybe three songs that are worth something but then again, those aren't timeless.

4 out of 5 stars A unknown goodie.......2006-03-25

Sadly, this CD did get much publicity and most people don't know about it. This CD was probably the best of the two Sisqo CDs that were released, the first was only good because of the Thong Song hit. On this CD, Sisqo really shows his talent, in creating beats and his lyrics. The beats will surely have you dancing, and it will bring back Sisqo memories. This CD is an oldie but goodie, and I suggest picking it up.

This (...) hasn't made A Hit Record In 6 Years,ev'ry body claims he's coming Back, but I Doubt it, this Nigga is done,he Came And He Went(Just Like Kandi).Besides this isn't a good Release Anyway,If You Get one of his Records,Get Unleash The Dragon,Or The Dru Hill Records. The Only Time He Shined when he was Solo Was from 1999(New Millenium)to 2000.

3 out of 5 stars Okay.......2005-07-28

I truly don't know what possessed me to buy this when it was released, I guess I liked "Dance For Me", but it turns out it wasn't so bad. "Dance For Me" was obviously the best song, better than anything on his first album I'm pretty sure. Some of the first tracks were good, like "Not Afraid" and "Infatuated". The first single was "Can I Live", a pretty good slower track. The collaboration with Dru Hill is good too, a lot like the music he recorded with them. A lot of the middle songs are pretty forgettable. The song with the rap group "The Associates" would be a pretty good rap song if those guys had anything to say. It looks like Sisqo is going to the oblivion of the forgotten R&B star, which is kind of too bad, because he did make a few songs worth remembering, especially with Dru Hill. This album probably isn't worth buying for most people that aren't Sisqo fans, but it isn't that bad.

They are horrible. Some of the worst of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. They should be ahsamed.

And if I ever meet them I'm going to demand my money back.

I've seen these guys at least 5 times at the club I work at in Hoboken NJ,and every time they played there the house came tumbling down.I'm a big fan of theirs and they know it.This CD ranks with the lights of Limp Bizkit,Linkin Park,Kid Rock.If you ever get to see this band live you'll know what I'm talking about...
