Editorial Reviews

In addition to the three-disc Hits/The B-Sides set, Prince's 1993 release list included separate editions of the two Hits volumes. By beginning with "When Doves Cry," Volume One would seem to promise a fairly mainstream overview of the man's career. But what can such a small word mean to an artist who writes love songs like this disc's "Adore" ("You can rip up my clothes, smash up my ride ... well, maybe not the ride") and who can put a cryptic religious fable (we think) like "7" in the Top 10? --Rickey Wright

Few bands of the 1960s retained as much a sense of the roots of rock and roll as did Creedence Clearwater Revival. Their music is rife with country, rockabilly, and R&B influences, a combination that produced several hit singles--most of which are present on this collection. These include "I Heard It through the Grapevine," "Lodi," "Up Around the B ," "Who'll Stop the Rain," and of course "Bad Moon Rising." This is an excellent greatest-hits collection, and a perfect introduction to the music of a band that has been enduringly influential. --Genevieve Williams

5 out of 5 stars My sort of music .......2007-07-12

As Im in my sixties you might think Im to old, but this is my sort of music.I reckon " john fogerty " is a great singer. Just listen to find out. Hope you like it the same as I do.

4 out of 5 stars CCR.......2007-06-28

An excellent greatist hits CD, I used a handful of songs to burn a CD with other related style of music.

5 out of 5 stars great stuff.......2007-06-27

listening to this CD makes you realize how great john fogerty was back in the day. great songs, great sound.

5 out of 5 stars Gets me going in the morning.......2007-06-27

I've been listening to this CD for 2 weeks in my car on the way to work.

5 out of 5 stars Soundtrack of an era.......2007-06-15

This is an excellent compilation of CCR's tunes from the late 60s, early 70s. There's a reason why Credence tunes kept popping up in movies and commercials. It's great music and evocative of the era from which it comes. No need for me to review the individual tunes; anybody with a radio has head most of them. A must-have for any music fan.

Amazon.com

In 1987, RCA released a one-disc Elvis compilation called The Number One Hits that featured 18 tracks. So how did the label come up with 12 additional number ones (13 if you count the sensational "A Little Less Conversation" remix that brings the King into the 21st century as a bona fide dance/electronica star)? Well, the '87 compilation featured only Billboard number ones. "In the Ghetto" and "Burning Love" never reached the top there, nor did "Way Down," despite every copy of that 45 selling out on both sides of the Atlantic following Presley's 1977 death. Instead, the new compilers have used the major pop charts in both the U.S. (including Cashbox) and U.K. to determine inclusions. The tracks have all been remixed from original masters, which proves awesome at best (some of the songs have never sounded crisper if, at times, slightly antiseptic) and problematic at worst. Purists will definitely quibble. "A Fool Such As I," for instance, sounds like Elvis rerecorded his vocals. Hank Garland's great guitar solo also sounds different. It might be an alternate take. That's definitely the case with "The Wonder of You." A few lyrics are even different, meaning this isn't the same version as the original 45. Of course, none of that should matter to the youngsters who've been singing along to "Hound Dog" on the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack, or to any other newcomers. Despite the complaints, this is arguably the best single disc Elvis primer to date. Real fans will want to explore much deeper for treasures to be found, but albums like this guarantee that this is one king who will deservedly live very long, if not forever. --Bill Holdship

5 out of 5 stars the elvis beat.......2007-06-15

I am very happy with this cd/it starts out early elvis and rocks all the way through as none other than Elvis could do...actually a good sound and certainly not a disappointment...I recommend this cd as a good purchase.

3 out of 5 stars elvis 30 #1 hits.......2007-06-12

I justdo not think that this cd was properly remastered. Unlike elvis 2nd to none, which sounded great, the sound quality is lacking on this cd.

5 out of 5 stars Phenomenal.......2007-05-28

What an incredible collection of music. I may even be in the minority, but I thought many of the songs on the Second to None CD were just as good, and in some case better, than many of the offerings here. To put both together provides some of the greatest sounding songs ever released. Elvis was more than just a singer and performer. He is truly an American Icon. His voice and music are timeless and the grea thing about this CD, is that it opened the door for a lot of listeners who may not have been familiar with the great songs that are classics now and will remain so. I think it may be about time for "Third Times a Charm" for those other gems that fell a little short of the other classics.

5 out of 5 stars One of the Best !!!.......2007-04-11

This collection of Elvis' work is one of the BEST purchase values as far as content and cost go. We are part of the generation that grew up listening to him and were extremely pleased with this large selection of his hits. If you want most of the songs you are familiar with and ones that were his biggest hits, this album is the best bet for your money !!!

5 out of 5 stars Golden treasures from 1956 to 1977.......2007-03-11

Unlike a lot of Elvis fans, this reviewer was but a child yet to enter school when the "King" passed away. Growing up, I had varying musical tastes and did enjoy some reruns on television of the films Elvis starred in. After a while I moved on to yet other interests in music, but eventually came back around to the one they call "The King" of Rock and Roll.

I'm not an Elvis Aficionado or expert, so if you want some fanatical Rain Man type repeater of his life or what was on his mind during the recording of a specific song, you will have to look elsewhere. What I will say is that what you see with this album is what you get. Every song is a #1 hit single, and there are 30 of them in all. Considering that you usually are lucky to get 20 songs for a maximum list on any CD, that in itself makes it something of value. 30 songs on a single CD that are also digitally remastered from their original recordings. That said, the remastering I feel is still great because although increasing and improving the sound, the album does not lose any of the raw, beautiful tones that make this music so timeless. The CD booklet has over 18 pages of photographs and commentary and features a nice timeline showing each song and when it was recorded. Some of the hits I'm enjoying right now at a glance are Heartbreak Hotel, All shook up, She's not you, and the pop sensation "Suspicious minds". If you are new to the music of Elvis Presley or someone who grew up with his music, I don't feel you can go wrong with purchasing "30" at all. It's a sunny day outside and hearing these songs gives me that feeling of enjoying the sounds, message and persona that is Elvis Presley.

Queen brought a whole new meaning to the phrase over the top. While rock & roll flamboyance stretched back at least as far as Little Richard, Freddie Mercury continued to camp it up, taking little seriously and smirking at the music's growing pretensions while partaking in them no small bit. Many of the band's singles hold up extremely well, later tracks such as "Hammer to Fall" as much as prime-era numbers such as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Killer Queen," and "You're My Best Friend." The quartet's canny sense of melody and sophisticated vocal harmonies--not to mention Mercury's raised eyebrow--have traveled well through the years. --Rickey Wright

This 2 cd set is a great sound of their best songs. The lyrics are written with a message for the listener. You will have a great experience just listening to the wonderful sound that you will hear

3 out of 5 stars Interested in early Queen?.......2007-07-18

FYI - if it's early Queen you're interested in - you know, stuff before that lemon of an album "Bicycle Races" - I strongly urge you to buy the original albums (starting with "A Day at the Races").

5 out of 5 stars Queen Greatest Hits.......2007-07-16

I really started to like Queen recently. Bohemian rhapsody is such a great song and really gets you moving. My husband likes running to this music. I am still getting used to some of the other songs, but I really like this CD. Whenever I listen to We Are the Champions, I think of the episode of Cheers when all of the bar boys pounded on the bar to this song. It's fun. As always, Amazon seems to have the best prices. I don't have to pay shipping or tax and save an additional dollar or two on top of that.

5 out of 5 stars Holy Moleee Canoli! Camooosh this is a piece of GOLD.......2007-05-23

This creation is one remarkable piece of history! I'm so thankful I got it, and for such a nice price you get almost 40 songs! With their incorporation of piano and Freddie Mercury's voice, and their guitarist- this thing just blows out your ears in amazement. I had heard so many of these songs on the radio, but who knew they did all of them? Bicycle Race first annoyed me with so much repitition, but with my love for bike-riding, it's become a motto for me to. Killer Queen is just WOWZERs... so sexy and loaded. And there's tons more, but I'll save those as super surpise you'll be glad you got!

5 out of 5 stars Best Double Box Set Ever.......2007-05-09

What can I say?!!?
Queen was the best - the songs are brilliant and theatrical.
Freddy M. will be forever one of the best performers - EVER.

Thanks for the greatest box set at the greatest price, Amazon!

It's one of the cruel ironies of music today that Billy Joel has been relegated to a kind of adult-contemporary hell, where his legacy is measured by soft-rock staples such as "Just the Way You Are," "Piano Man," and "New York State of Mind." To be sure, well-crafted ballads are a part of his legacy, but they're hardly the whole story, as this collection of his early and mid-period hits amply demonstrates. From the unbridled biographical boasting of "The Entertainer" and the ambitious storytelling of "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" to the careening abandon of "Only the Good Die Young" and the thoughtful social commentary of "Allentown," Joel was as complete an artist as the last three decades have produced. --Daniel Durchholz

4 out of 5 stars Billy Joel - A Decent Compilation.......2007-06-11

These days Billy Joel is often lumped in with Elton John as being remembered only for his top 40 radio hits and mushy ballads from the past several decades. Many people forget that like Elton, Joel put out some really strong albums in his early and mid-career. The guy was a songwriter's songwriter and not only could play a hell of a piano, but could be a very clever lyricist as well. Like Elton, Joel's output could be very inconsistent. For every "Goodnight Saigon" or "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" he wrote more throwaway stuff like "Uptown Girl" or "Tell Her About It". This two disc compilation captures all of his singles and some of his album tracks up to 1985. For the most part the material here is good, as you hear him move from an album oriented artist to a more commercial singles oriented one over the course of a little over a decade. The first disc is the best and starts out with some of the best cuts from his pre-superstar days. "Piano Man", "Captain Jack", "The Entertainer", and "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" are all great tracks and show a much different side of Joel than much of his later output. "The Stranger" is also included here. Although I was never crazy about the music or the chorus to this one, the lyrics are some of Joel's all time best. The rest of disc one starts dipping into Joel's big hit territory with the mush ballads "Just The Way You Are", and "She's Always A Woman" (written for his 1st wife who he would divorce not too many years later). The big hits "Only The Good Die Young" and "Moving Out" are also included. Disc two is not quite as strong. Three strong songs open the disc "My Life", "Big Shot" and "You May Be Right" all decent songs that got played to death on radio. Then it is back to mediocrity land with "It's Still Rock n Roll To Me" (I always think of the Weird Al Yankovic parody "It's Still Billy Joel To Me"), "Don't Ask Me Why", and "She's Got A Way". The best part of this disc is the three tracks from what is in my opinion Joel's strongest album "The Nylon Curtain". For this one Joel took a serious turn and came up with some really great songs. The 3 singles from the album are all represented here and they are all good ones. "Allentown" is a portrait of the Pennsylvania steel town after the industry pretty much pulled out. "Pressure" is another good one about the pressure of modern day life. "Goodnight Saigon" may be Joel's best all time work, and is a striking portrait of the Vietnam War. The last half of the CD covers Joel's Do Wop period with "Uptown Girl", "The Longest Time", and "Tell Her About It" (songs about his second wife whom he would eventually divorce). I am not much of a Do Wop fan so these don't do a lot for me. Two new (at the time) songs close the disc out and are pretty much both throw aways in my opinion. In the end this is a nice compilation of early Joel material. If you are looking for an overview this would be a good pick up.

5 out of 5 stars Greatest Hits.......2007-05-11

Many "Greatest Hits..." albums and sets are lacking or down right suck. This set is great. The songs you want to hear the way you expect to hear them.

1 out of 5 stars WARNING: Not the Complete Versions.......2007-03-31

I don't often get "greatest hits" collections, preferring instead to buy original albums, but in this case I did, because there are a handful of Billy Joel songs I wanted in my collection, but I didn't want to invest enough to purchase all of his albums. Unfortunately, they don't tell you that what you get here, at least in some instances, are the "single" versions of these songs, not the full-length versions from the original albums. Case in point: One of my favorite Billy Joel songs is "Just the Way You Are," but the version on this set cuts an entire verse. I haven't done comparisons on all of the other songs, but if they'd pull that on this song, they probably did so on others as well. It's incomprehensible to me; if someone wants Billy Joel songs, the odds are that they want the complete songs, not truncated re-edits.

5 out of 5 stars I love it.......2007-01-11

I was familiar with a few of Billy Joel's songs, but I thought my disc collection would not be complete if I did not own a good sample of his material.
This product proposes a chronological approach and that suited me just fine. The two discs are loaded with all the classics. All of them wonderfully digitalized. I was able to appreciate the enormous range of Billy Joel. Great songwriter, great singer, great piano player. Although I am drummer, I do understand why people like him, or Sting, or Stevie Wonder, or Elton John, are on top of the music industry food chain. It is truly difficult to be able to master so many areas of music. And I am not talking about the performing, the band leading chores, the musical direction, production, publicity, all these extra skills to own in order to arrive where they are.
Getting one hit out is already a rare feat, but 35 or 40 like the ones presented in this compilation, require a truly great mind (something many one hit wonders wish to have).
I love this compilation. A great buy!

5 out of 5 stars This is Music!!.......2007-07-04

Pure and simple, they do not make music like this anymore. I have lived through the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. There are a few perfect moments in music in all of these decades. This CD represents many of the gems of music that shined in this decade, the 60's. They are to be cherished!!!

Amazon.com essential recording

The three-volume Good Vibrations series is designed with the hits-hungry fan in mind. Eschewing a strict chronological approach, the best-of sets are arranged according to charting position. Thus the initial collection is laden with the group's trademark tunes, ranging from the California boys' first top 10 charter, 1962's "Surfin' Safari," to their last, 1988's "Kokomo," a stray, post-Brian Wilson success. "Kokomo" is by far the newest selection included here; nothing else dates past 1966's No. 1 smash, "Good Vibrations." With the likes of "Fun, Fun, Fun," "I Get Around," "California Girls," and the incandescent "God Only Knows" rounding out the set, Greatest Hits Volume 1 is the ideal first pick for anyone looking for the Beach Boys at their commercial peak. --Steven Stolder

5 out of 5 stars Best Beach Boys.......2007-06-04

No need for much analysis here. An excellent Beach Boys compiliation. It's got all of the radio hits, the fun in the summer in the 60s. Maybe that's why "In My Room" and "When I Grow up to Be a Man" aren't here, which is because they're more thoughtful and introspective. Too bad, but what's here is excellent, great ambassador from its era.

5 out of 5 stars Makes You Feel as if You Live by the Ocean.......2007-04-02

This album brings together all the all time favorites from the infamous Beach Boys. The classics like Surfin' USA, Surfer Girl, and Good Vibrations are all included in this CD that is guaranteed to get your blood pumping. Its hard to resist getting up and dancing to these wonderful tracks. If you like the Beach boys, you are sure to love this album. Its got all the right tunes and grooves. It makes you feel as if you live right there, ten feet from the beautiful ocean. I highly recommend this album to any person of any age, its safe for kids, another perk of these amazing tracks.

As a survey of Toby Keith's first four recordings (not including the seasonal Christmas to Christmas), this set turns in some strong singles, making the case for the Okie singer-songwriter as one of the more traditionally minded of the '90s hat acts. Keith rarely devastates as a singer, but he never overreaches, and there's more than a bit of grit in his delivery of "Should've Been a Cowboy" and "He Ain't Worth Missing." His emotional triumph remains the obsessive "Who's That Man," in which Keith sees another man living the life he threw away. Keith also includes two songs not available elsewhere, complementing an appealing mainstream country set. --Roy Kasten

5 out of 5 stars It made me a fan.......2006-08-08

I puchased this Toby Keith album because I was given tickets to see him in concert and didn't know even one of his songs. I became a fan of Toby's soon after listening to this CD. Although he talks through a lot of "Getcha Some", it's become of my favorites out of the fourteen tracks. "You Ain't Much Fun" is an awesome song, even if the message isn't very considerate. This album is a great collection of country!

5 out of 5 stars Awesome.......2006-07-14

I not a HUGE country fan but I like some of it. Toby Keith's greatest hits volume one is AWESOME!!! There isn't one song on the cd that I don't love to listen to over and over again! My autistic son who hates almost ALL music LOVES #10 LOL. We put it on repeat in the car!!!

WOW...more than ONE song on here makes it worth owning!!! I sooo wish Toby would go back to this type of music. The last couple years his music has gone downhill BIG time!

This is just a small sample of what he is capable of. There are a lot of great hits on this including "Dream Walkin" and "Should have been a cowboy". My favorite is "A little less talk and a lot more action". Definitely put this in your collection. It's worth it.

5 out of 5 stars PRICELESS!!!.......2007-06-23

The songs"Sailing"and "Never Gonna Let You Go"are worth the price of the entire album itself!!I listen to"Sailing"and nearly fall asleep, just envisioning, spending an entire summer, escaping lifes' hardships'sailing peacefully, through the Great Lakes, watching the sun glistening, off the waters' surface...."Never Gonna Let You Go"is a beautifully INTENSE and heartfelt love song!!Sergio actually takes a backseat(in my eyes)to whoever that husky/sexy-voiced woman is that he's singing with/to!!! This song is so"alive"with sincere passion, that I routinely play it at LEAST 7 times each day!!Actually the ENTIRE album is WONDROUS,so,I simply expounded on my two FAVORITES!!Everybody should own this disc!!When you get it,you can basically break of the "forward"button on your disc player, while you're playing this gem, cause it's HIT after HIT from the first track to the last!!

5 out of 5 stars This Brings Me Back..........2007-01-24

I've been searching for a CD to add to my collection of all those love songs that I remember from middle and high school. My favorite song on this CD is Sergio Mendez' Never Gonna Let You Go, which was the first song I ever slow danced to as a teenager. If you are looking for a single CD to bring you back to a time when you had your first slow dance, your first kiss, or your first girlfriend/boyfriend, then this one is for you.

5 out of 5 stars incredible compilation of hits.......2007-01-08

I've had this CD and Hits 2 for years. Since I grew up on prince's music as a kid, I felt that my CD collection was incomplete without this. All of his popular singles from the late 70's through the early 90's are on hits 1 & 2(I wish there was a seperate disc for the prince b-sides) and it's fun blasting them through the house while cleaning up or in the car. His grooves are just delicious and he does whatever he wants with that voice. In addition he's a strong songwriter and plays all the instruments, now what you tell ya mama bout that!!!

5 out of 5 stars An Excellent Prince Compilation.......2006-09-09

Prince is one of the msot talented and influential artists in music history, and this 1993 best-of collection is ample proof of that. Featuring 18 of his best known songs as well as a few lesser known hits, this collection (along with its sequel "Hits 2") is ideal for the novice Prince fan.

Many of Prince's most familliar hits are here, including "When Doves Cry", "Let's Go Crazy", "1999", "Sign 'O' The Times", and "7", as well as lesser known tracks such as "When You Were Mine", "Adore" and "Pink Cashmere".

My only complaint is that the sound quality is a bit flat. Other than that, this is a great Prince collection (though you have to get "Hits 2" (review coming soon) as well).

5 out of 5 stars Prince.......2006-08-27

The first CD of this two-CD set spans 20 years, and if you've never heard the man, it's a great way to discover his music. If it were up to me, I'd add a bit more from CONTROVERSY, but never mind. This is an excellent CD. The second CD is all new stuff, which quite naturally invites us to compare what he did then to what he's doing now. The new compares with the old quite nicely. He's mastered some new skills, which comes as no surprise at all.

Let me deal with the silly, since I've been listening to Prince since 1981. Why is his name Prince? Because that's the name his mother gave him. Prince Rogers Nelson, right there on his birth certificate. His race? Well, how stupid is this question? He addresses it on the CONTROVERSY album. But, he's not quite as specific as I'm gonna get. White father, mulatto mother. Both musicians, naturally. CONTROVERSY also alludes to questions of Prince's sexual preference, but that really is irrelevant.

As I've mentioned elsewhere in this rag, I just so happen to be an atheist. (If you look up that word in your dictionary, you will see "a fool who admits that ain't selling NO books.") Prince recently became a Jehovah's Witness. And yet, I love him and his music. Always have, probably always will.

If you've listened to Prince, you know he loves sex and he loves God, and that he probably knows a bit more about sex than he does about God. He might be too nasty to play on the radio or with children in the room, but he's spent pretty much all his life seeking the truth about life. To quote the title of one of his new songs, Every Day Is A Winding Road.

My man is raunchy, horny, witty, creative, brilliant, clever, and can play a guitar with the best of them. Or any instrument, for that matter. He taught himself piano at age 10. Many of his early albums feature him playing every single instrument. The band was just for concerts and background vocals. Prince's voice is better than it's ever been.

Kierkegaard's epitaph reads "That individual." I'd put Prince in that category. And my lovely cat Picasso. It's a place I'm aiming for but haven't reached yet.

Prince poured his heart and soul into his music for more than half his life. Then the bad contract stuff happened and he changed his name and went away for a while. But he kept writing. And now, he can sing what he wants again. He can make jokes with the Aussie reporter about yelling "Freebird" at the concert. He can reinvent himself, same as every author should be allowed to do whenever he/she wants. I certainly have.

I can listen to these CDs again, and again, and again. And love them every time. As long as he keeps doing what he's always done, I'll always be a fan. We're both evolving, yes, but his music never ceases to be musical. He just gets better, and I will keep listening.

3 out of 5 stars Eh... .......2006-08-15

(2.5/5 stars) Prince has made some respectable music over the years, but you wouldn't really know it listening to this CD. There are a few very good songs, such as "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go Crazy" and "Nothing Compares 2 U," though most of the songs are simply adequate. I enjoy the lyrics of "Pop Life," but the song itself is fairly weak. Chaka Khan had some success with "I Feel For You," but again the song is just passable. Maybe it is the incessant synthesizers or perhaps it is the only sporadic emotion, but these pop songs just seem so lifeless and uninspired. Unless you are a very big fan or Prince, save your money. (Although there are a couple songs I skip when playing, "The Hits 2" is more enjoyable. "Peach" and "Sexy M.F." are worth the price of that one)

5 out of 5 stars better than hits 2 and stop hating on the man.......2006-07-07

Don't listen to those folks that hate this talented man. Yes, he used to shock us by wearing women clothing and so on, but that doesn't mean he is terrible in general. Look at xtina aguilera. She had an image that would make parents blush, but no one could deny her beautiful voice. so stop hating on what's on the outside and start taking notice on the real thing. Ok, back to the review.
As a fan, I'm probably one of those ppl that got tired of When Doves Cry after a gazillion times of listens. If you think about it, it does get annoying after a while. but thankfully he has alot of songs that are better. so y'all know the songs on here already. all these songs are great, but one song that gets to me is Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad. Horrible,IMO. But other than that, this cd is better than the hits 2.

Album Description

First installment of the track-suited inventors of nu-metal's greatest hits. It draws on their back catalogue, from the1994 self titled debut; right through to 2003's 'Take A Look In The Mirror'. 'Greatest Hits Vol.1' displays the originsof the downtuned early 90's metal sound that went on to influence countless acts. It also includes covers of material by Pink Floyd and Cameo.

4 out of 5 stars Finally gave in...and I do like it!.......2007-07-14

Korn is not a band I have any other music from, but I did like many of thier "hits" or songs on the radio back in the day (which is as it turns out, not so long ago). Something about the hip-hop hard rock sound, and that whatever you call it...clicking bass sound just got to me eventually, and I found myself cranking their songs.

I am into bands like Corrosion Of Conformity, Helmet, Biohazard, Prong; plus I love the rap/rock that surfaced in the late 80's and seemed to flourish in the early 90's, from the aforementioned Biohazard, and Rage Against The Machine; and Korn seemed to draw some from those types of bands and blend it all together and it worked for the most part. Probably the worst thing that happened was getting that stupid "nu metal" tag, I hate that just about as much as the "hair metal" tag. C'mon, ya know?...it's just hard rock music that has a certain sound or feel, why does it have to have a label on it all the time? Perhaps it's not Metal, but it deserves a better name than Nu Metal, that was just being lazy.

Anyway, most of the songs on here I like. I can't help but repeat the "Ya'll Want A Single" chorus over and over, and of course all the hits that follow are very convenient for a casual fan like myself of the band and just wants to enjoy thier fine music.

1 out of 5 stars It's finally over for these guys! 0/5 stars.......2007-06-12

This mallcore mediocre imitation metal band finally released a greatist hit's album Oh yeah I knew these guys were not gonna stick around for long. They were the worst talentless band I ever heard and a massive disgrace to real metal bands like iron maiden helloween slayer white zombie pantera judas priest motorhead. All their songs are garbage and all their music playing and vocals were completely horrible and unrelying they all smack a rush job on every song. I'm no expert in metal but I know there is no way korn can be called metal and there are lot's of other bands (including nu metal) that are alot better than korn. Korn is just an obnoxious fad like limp bizkit which now and days is completely forgotten by exfans like me. And thanks to head who found jesus and left... korn is finally dead that is a miracle no bands in their right mind would do that and im the exfan who found my true taste in music and left korn also.

3 out of 5 stars Just okay.......2007-06-02

Korn has had their occasional hit here and there. While this is probably the best Korn has to offer, it's just okay music (in my opinion, of course). The cover of "Word Up" is nothing short of genius, but I wasn't impressed with Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall". Floyd is one of those bands that are too sacred to turn into nu metal.
